In some ways, it was sweet as well as realistic that Thakur clan behave like the bride's side generally do at the time of weddings.

The way, Kaaki ma sa got annoyed with Ratan and told him off. It seems all of them treat him like a spoiled child in this whole set up.

I guess somewhere in the minds of Diya's parents he and Yash are like brothers to her. I find it surprising that in serials, they do not show them being treated like that. In most families which are friends for that long, it is common to even start doing rakhi tying since childhood.

(Do not throw the favourite tomatoes, actually throw them as long as they are of good quality 😆)

I was just observing how things are shown conveniently in shows.

Even how Diya's dad reacted how it was lucky that no one from groom's side was there to see Ratan's behaviour shows they are not treating him like an outsider.

There is a strange camaraderie between them which probably existed before Ratan's mother started suspecting the murder attempts on her child.
