Hello people *waves*

For the past couple of moths we've had zero activity on AS Shop. The purpose of this thread is to see what you guys want in AS Shop - your ideas on what to do, how to go about implementing them etc.

So what would you like to see in A S Shop?
What kind of discussions / contests do you prefer?

I've been through the past suggestions thread and I'll compile some ideas from there along with a couple of new ones to just get things started.
Discussions - I really like the idea of having a monthly discussion, what kind of topics would you like to discuss?
A Newsletter - We could have a newsletter which includes tips, resource spotlight, tutorial spotlight, and maybe we could also include best siggy / best icon etc.
Ask the maker / member interview - This is partially inspired from LiveJournal ask the maker, we could have the interview an AS Shop member, after the general interview forumwasis can ask that particular person questions related to Photoshop and graphics making in general. This can be either done as a standalone or included in the newsletter.
Chat Club - Wouldn't it be cool to have a chat club pinned at the top for Photoshop and ranting?
Contests:
So I'm gonna share a contest idea that I find interesting. It's inspired from LIMS (again credit goes to LJ). Basically it's a multi round elimination contest where in each round you'll be given 4 or 5 pics and you'll be asked to make an icon / signature. The best from each round move on to the next and finally we'll be down to one person who'll be crowned Last Graphics Maker Standing.

Now I'm passing on the baton to all of you. Feel free to post even your most crazy ideas because all awesome ideas start with a crazy thought. Well, most of the time. So comment away. 😆

Group contests

Monthly/weekly discussions about a topic

MOTM - bringing one member in spotlight for his/her exceptional work in that month

And more tutorials 😆

@bold we could ask the MOTW to do a tut for us 😆

Also if we could have a couple of people to organize contests and stuff it'll be fun.

I like the idea of a chat club. It won't strictly be only PS but will be a place for PS-ers to interact.

Also, there could be threads once or so a month (maybe on a rotation basis) so a handful of PS-ers can put up their creations - something along the lines of an exhibition? I don't know if that makes sense?

I think the contests will be good for all as it would give the makers not only inspiration but also encouragement for doing better...

Chat clubs will be good also...

Tutorials r always appreciated here...😳

I guess we can open a shop and gallery index also...it will help the new comers...they can take a look around...😛

Shop and gallery index is a great idea, we'll need someone who logins in regularly to organize it though. 😳

You mean something on the lines of spotlight?
