There are so often particular books that end up being "frequently named" on threads about favorites or best. (They often seem to be equally disliked, too!) But it seems as if people often end up talking about certain books...and I am sure there are others that you think folks SHOULD be talking about more often.

So, what are the (recent or not) books that you can't believe more people aren't reading/discussing? Which ones are lacking the hype, but are SO worth reading?

I think it would be "Im Alice" by susan Juby and maybe "Bad boy" by olivia Goldsmith!

@stranger: i have read Durrel's my family and other animals.. Didnt even understand id.. I left it in middle
