Ishu nodded her head slowing stating it's true.
Madhu- Chee Ishu.. Now, this moment I'm regreting giving birth to you.. Aaj se mujhe sirf ek hi beti hai.. tum hamare liye mar gayi.. Viswa chalo yahan se..
and dragged him. All followed them leaving her alone. She cried seeing all leaving her. She curled into herself and was crying hiding her face in her legs.
After sometimes, Mihika came back to check her and saw her lying unconscious. She panicked seeing this and rushed to the neighbourhood and asked for a doctor. Luckily there was a doctor in the downstairs. Soon the doctor came and checked her and declared her to be pregnant. She fainted due to stress and asked her to keep her stress free.
After sometimes Ishita woke up and saw Mihika sitting besides her. She hugged Mihika and cried. Mihika was consoling her rubbing her back.
Miku- kya akka.. aap aisa royenge toh baby bhi aapki taraf cry baby ho jayegi..
Ishu- Baby!!
Miku nodded her head and made her touch her tummy. She smiled between her tears and again hugged Mihika feeling overwhelmed. But soon sadness overpowered her.
Ishu- Mika amma appa..
Mihika was silent for sometime and said- woh log chennai chali gayi.. mein bas kuch office ke bahana banakar yahan ruka..
Ishu- Woh log mujhe kabhi maaf nahi karenge na.. karna bhi nahi.. Even I deserve this for breaking their trust.
Ishu was crying. After sometimes she got tired and slept. Mihika made her sleep comfortably and left to kitchen to make something for Ishu to eat.
Day passed somehow. At night Raman called her, she was sleeping so didn't pick the call. He thought she might be with amma appa so didn't pick the phone so just messaged her.
Next day Ishu saw the message and called Raman. But he had already left for meeting so didn't pick. Mihika decided to stay with her Ishu akka for some days till she is ok.
Through out the day Mihika was making Ishu busy in conversation to make her not remember anything else. At night Raman called her back. Ishu picked the call immediately.
Ishu- Raman.. (she cried)
Raman- Kya huwa jaan.. Ro kyu rahi ho??
Ishu- Ra..Raman.. amma appa.. and cried again
Raman- Ishi pehele stop crying.. kya huwa bacha?
But due to continuous crying she wasn't able to tell anything, so Mihika took the phone and narrated everything. Raman was silent hearing all this. He was in a state of shock, guilt overtook him.He was sad thinking he is the reason behind all this mess and the thing which hurt him the most was he can't even be with her when she needs him the most. But he knew its not the time to think all these, he needs to console her. So he composed himself and asked Mihika to give the phone to Ishita.
Raman- Ishi Jaan..
But soon guilt overtook him and his words chocked back due to tears. Both were crying as if pouring their heart out to each other.
Raman- I'm so sorry Jaan, because of me you have to go through all these.
He was going on blaming himself. Ishu couldn't see Raman like this.
Ishu- Kya Raman aap aise royenge toh baby kya sochenge.. kaise rotlu papa mila hai meri baby keliye
Raman was shocked hearing this, his world stopped.
Raman- Kya bola tumne?? Ek baar phir bolona jaan
Ishu- Rramaan... aap papa banne wale ho.. hamare bacche meri pett mein hai Raman..
There was no response from the other side.
Ishu- Raman.. aap sunn rahe hona..
Ishu expected Raman to be so happy, but the straight ulta happened. He cried, Ishu was shocked and scared thinking Raman is not happy about the baby.
Ishu*cryingly*- Kya Raman.. aap khush nahi ho??
Raman- Ye hamari zindagi ki sabse bada din hai, aaj bhi dekho I'm not with you. I'm not a good husband nor a good father. Ache se apni baby ka welcome bhi nahi kar paayi aur can't be with you when you need me the most.
Ishu- Kya Raman.. kuch bhi bakwas kar rahe ho. Baby is so proud of his papa. Just imagine jab woh bade honge na woh uske saare friends se proudly kahenge ki uski papa protects our country. We are so proud of you Raman, aap apne aapko aisa blame math karo..
Like this they both talked for sometime and slept.
Ishu was sad thinking about amma appa, but she took care of herself for Raman and their baby.
Days started passing, Mihika went back to Chennai after giving alot of instructions and do's and don'ts' to her akka. She appointed a maid, Neelu to look after Ishu during night. Ishu joined a nearby clinic.
During weekends Mihir and his wife Pooja will visit her, they would go out, so that she won't feel lonely. Even if she didn't show it outside she missed Raman terribly. All knew this but couldn't do anything.
Mihika, on the otherside tried to bridge the gap between Iyers and Ishu.
Few months passed, now Ishu was now 7 months pregnant, her tummy bulged out. She was looking so cute with her baby bump.
She was sitting in the balcony and sipping her coffee looking at nothing at particular. She was lost in her thoughts. Seeing her lost Mihika came near her shook her.
Mihika- Akka aap kahan kho gayi ho..?
Ishu- Kuch nahi.. bas aisa hi.. woh sab chodo tum yahan kaise?
Miku- Kya mein nahi aa sakthi.. mein apni akka se milne keliya aayi..
Ishu- Tum akeli aagayi ?
Miku- periamma periappa sab aane keliye ready dhi.. par suddenly periappa ko kuch kaam aagayi isiliye woh nahi aayi..
Ishu- Mujhe patha hai Miku amma appa kabhi nahi aayegi.. tumhe jhoot bolne li koyi jaroorat nahi hai.. appa mujhe abhi tak maaf nahi kiya mujhe patha hai..
her eyes teared up
"Saachi akka.. amma appa tickets bhi book kiya yahan aane keliye.. " Mihika said trying to console her sad sister
Miku- Kya akka aapka chotu baby aaraha hai par aap yahan ek chotu baby ki taraf ro rahi ho.. yeh rona dhona band karo.. aapko pata hai aapse milne keliye kon aaya hai?
Ishu- Kon aaya hai?
Miku- Bataathi hum.. pehle stop crying
"I'm not crying" Ishita said wiping her tears
Miku- Vandu akka Bala Jeeju aur aapka favourite shravu aaya hai aapse milne
Ishu- Really.. kahan hai
"Neeche hall mein wait kar raha hai.. mein aapko bulane keliye aaya tha.. chalo jaldi jaldi chalo.. pehle face wash karke aavo akka nahi toh shravu baby darr jayega" and Mihika rushed out
Ishita freshened up and went downstairs to meet her akka jeeju and shravu after a long gap of about 8 months.
