<font size="3">I kindda felt disappointed when Uma wore jeans and shirt. Although I understand he did it for Kanak which was a very sweet gesture. My favorite is the pajama kurta. But I know that we fell in love with the Uma Shankar that wears dhoti and those hot belts! So I want him to be our old Uma without the rigidity and control issues. I appreciate that Uma realized he should force his beliefs on anyone and I want him to keep that in the future. He should let others drink tea if they want to but if he doesn't want to then he should stay away from it. Let the women in his house modernize the stove if that makes things easier or let clothes be washed in washing machine. Wish he would start treating women for the sake of helping. Respect women pursuing education or careers. I know he did the filmy song and dance and dialogues for Kanak but I don't want him to adopt those because he us such a pure pearl in this oyester shell that I don't want him contaminated by our modern world crap. I think Massi sa sheltered him to keep him from knowing what she was doing out there but it helped to grow this pearl at the same time. I do want to review all that he studied in the name of dharam and reflect the relevance in our modern day life. He has to Understand that you have to meet people half way. You can't expect them to color in your color all the way. You give and take. And also understand what works for one person doesn't work for someone else. And that's why God made each of us unique. Most of all I do want Uma to use his brain like he did somewhat when Kanak was doing the Geetha Seetha games.</font>
