Amidst the darkness, Shani was sitting at the corner of a lake dejected looking at his own reflection. His wife's curse was still echoing in his ears and probably his reflection is the only thing he could look at right now coz there is nothing left to be destroyed in him. Fates have always been cruel to him, destroying him emotionally bit by bit. A father who selflessly burns to give light to the entire world but doesn't have an ounce of empathy for his own son. A mother who can devote her life completely for her step children but couldn't understand the pain that his son was going through. A sister (Bhadra) who loved him dearly but he couldn't rescue her from clutches of fate. Now a wife who claims to love him but blessed him with the biggest curse he had no idea how to break. Sighing he closed his eyes and for the first time in his life Shani felt lost and helpless. Dhamini was looking at her husband from a distance. Shani hardly gives away any emotions but the current look on his face made her feel he is going through immense pain. She also came to know about the Mangal dosh in her kundli. She got dumbstruck when she realised Shani married her inspite of knowing that she will bring his doom. God can I ever understand this man. He speaks of this marriage as a duty but he did a huge sacrifice which can be done by people who has immense love for someone. In front of his sacrifice, her love appeared futile to her. She now understood that her love was immature. She need to learn a lot to become worthy of her husband. Wiping the tears that were streaming down her eyes, she went to her husband and mustered the courage to apologise.Startled by her voice, Shani tried to turn his face but quickly averted his gaze. It is not ur fault.Dont feel guilty. He tried to make her feel good. She asked him the reason behind marrying her inspite of knowing the truth about her Mangal dosh. Honestly Shani himself didn't know what pushed him towards this marriage. Whether it was his promise to his mother or the reason that he doesn't Dhamini to get hurt. Both reasons are valid but he couldn't understand which influenced him more. Brushing away his thoughts, he said it was for my mother, ur father and you. She had no words for the man in front of her. She finally spoke Shani I have done a terrible thing to u and the worst part is I even don't know how to undo it. But I can do one thing. I will bring sensibility, patience and selflessness in my love for u. I will love u in the best way I can. I will fight with the influence Mangal has on me with the love I have for you. Mangal has made our relationship a weapon to destroy you but I will make sure that our relationship becomes your biggest asset for you in this battle. You are the bravest yet the most sensible man I have ever known Shani. I have utmost faith in you. You will find a solution for this problem and I will stand by you. Let's go home. Shani nodded in agreement and both started walking towards Surya lok. All of this time Dhamini was looking at Shani whose eyes were set down. Those eyes which bore straight into her soul whenever he sees her, eyes where there was never a tiny bit of fear or doubt, eyes in which she wanted to see love. For now all she wants is him to see her once even his eyes are devoid of emotions it's fine. She misses his stare. On the other side, Shani slowly started realising the meaning behind Narayan's word. How women brings prosperity in her husband's life, becomes his strength. His wife may not have the solution to his problems, but she will be always there for him never letting him lose hope. For the first time, her love did touch his heart and the warmth slowly started melting the ice inside his soul. n
