Another good episode today. it had the right amount of fun, drama and plotting to keep us entertained. The scenes flowed nicely except in a few places where the editor uncle could have stopped his scissors, he did not fail to disappoint us by snipping the lovely Rikara hug... 😡
Got that out of the way, there were quite a few bits that were good. Shivika scene was awesome, the way the man, a mountain, is bowing to the tree. Admitting that he needs Anika to tide through the difficult times and also for the mundane like folding his clothes, making light even during a dark moment. The way Anika who smiled, turned somber, emotional on hearing Shivaay's words. SC... too good here. The hug was so natural, the way she was folded into his arms, silent promises made by SSO as always. Don't know why he still refuses to share the burden of Tej's alleged crime of KM. What better time than the present to share with his brothers and fight it out. Instead, this secrecy and silence might have repercussions going by what Tej avowed.
The pillow fight among OmRuRi was cute and loved this scene. Rudy boy.. was top of his game, poor guy needs to feel pampered, the baby of the family. He is getting married and wants to feel special. BTW where did Bhavya disappear too??? This is too much, people coming and going... Lily was loitering in the house, they saw her while dancing in the garden and failed to recognise her.. ouch.. rookie mistake... reaction on the pizza discus throw... a laughter... hmmm... they were in a good mood but to laugh it off... Best line by Rudy-- I love chilli sauce said with a grin... 😆
It was good to see the 2 bahus bless Ruvya, shedding tears of joy. Thankfully Jhanvi-Pinky kept mum and did not resort to their usual taunts, the moment was quiet. Got a glimpse of Khannaji after weeks. Had he been with Shivika, he might have sniffed out Veer's dark side. 😆 Despite their differences over their respective sons, the 2 moms blessed Rudy. Dadi has seen enough to know what matters and is holding the family together by a frayed thread now. Tej is feeling left out from the festivities but his ego blinds him. Shivika donning the mantle of the elder son and bahu, fulfilling their duties, doing the right thing. The contrast could not have been more stark. Where is Shakti gone off too? Tia is no longer loitering in the vast halls of OM as her didi is back. 😆😆
Now the designer is back to her crazy outfits and Anika's new one shoulder outfit was... ummm... (scratching my head) to come up with a word or two and failing... like it or hate it... undecided... 😆
Her makeup reminded me of the Egyptian mummy, nice... defo as for the salwar/kurti/gown... still undecided.
Now the scene where the 3 of them AniOmRu try to eavesdrop on Shivaay was hilarious. It had the old charm, they were natural... and the scene felt so right. Rudy the truthful blabbermouth fessed up at once, so did Anika.. just did not like the word jasoos... 🤣 Shivaay was matter of fact when he found all 3 outside his door... he knew they would be there. As for Om, he was hilarious too when he accused Shivaay of arranging a party and failing to inform them. Rudy's reply was even more hilarious... happens when one gets married. 🤣 They are such an adorable bunch.
Lohri, that one word was enough to put the fear of God in Anika when she almost lost Shivaay to a bullet last year, when she had to beg, plead with Pinky to see him, had decided to leave him for his own good, though it tore her apart. For all her bravado, she feels scared to be so happy lest it is stolen from her again like it had been all her life.
2 Evil people who set off things in motion, going to any lengths to achieve their ends no matter what. Svetlana played Tej who succumbed to her in his blind hatred of Shivaay while Veer in his lust to obtain Anika is going to harm the little girl.
