As a neutral viewer, I am watching EDT only as it's a thriller. I know many others who are watching solely for the fact it's a thriller and not because of the couples per-say. In all honesty, if Vyom is the killer, this would be the end for many neutral viewers. Firstly, because the core mystery has been revealed. Secondly, this would just change EDT into a supernatural version of Beyhadh. Vyom does need grey shades and that character does need to be developed more to match up to Shiv's development. But if he's turned into a killer, he's no longer a grey character; he's completely Black. He will just be another Maya.
Vyom aside, unless there's a new thriller element, viewers will lose interest as the mystery has been revealed. So if Vyom isn't the killer, the makers should buck up and start hinting covertly at it. If he is, many neutral viewers, like me, are going to tune off for this is only going to become a typical 2 boys chasing after a girl story. And there will be no grey characters in this story. Hope EDT doesn't turn into a disappointment like Haasil. And the worst part would be this serial going down as another flop, despite the good acting of the 2 male leads.
