"So, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, will you be able to do it?" she questioned, mockery etched into her pristine features.
The look on Arnav's face was priceless, according to her. He stood flabbergasted as he heard the condition for his forgiveness. That moment he knew that he had underestimated her on several levels and she was keen to prove him wrong on every single one of them.
"Thought so. Being so used to treating others as rubbish and not receiving any backlash must have made you forget how to apologize. Of course, a certain amount of decency, courtesy and conscience are require to be noble enough to accept your follies to the world and make up for them. Obviously, I expected it from the wrong person," she stated, as she turned around to leave.
"MAY I HAVE EVERYONE'S ATTENTION!" shouted Arnav, causing Khushi to turn around and stare at him in surprise.
He fell onto his knees with his head bowed deeply, surprising Khushi further. She did not think that he would ever be capable of owning up his mistakes. But it seemed like it was her turn to be proven wrong.
"I am sorry, Khushi Gupta. I am sorry for everything I did. I am sorry for threatening you. I am sorry for outraging your modesty. I sincerely apologize for the trauma you experienced due to me and my gang. Will you please forgive me?" he pleaded guilty.
To err is human and to forgive is divine..
The quote ran in her mind several times over as she stared at Arnav's knelt form with several questions in her mind. She did not want to be the one to extend their rivalry when he apologized to her in front of everyone, effectively pushing the ball into her court.
"Apology accepted. But I do pray that I will never have cross my path with yours," she said, signing for him to stand up. The code of conduct would dictate her to help him rise with her own hands but she knew that touching him would be the bane for her patience.
She turned around on her heel and left for her class without wasting a single moment. On the other hand, Arnav Singh Raizada rose amidst of several whispers, giggles and catcalling. His heated mind wanted vengeance but he knew that his self-respect was on line and he could not afford to lose his self-respect, no matter what the cost would be.

Evening,
""Rakesh, we would never get a chance better than this to become ASR's favorites. See, his hands are tied by the love for his brother so he cannot take revenge for himself even if he wants to we can do it for him right?" said Aniket, internally smirking at his own cunning wit.
"Yes, but do you actually know that ASR really wants to take revenge or has he left her for good?" questioned Rakesh, trying to confirm Arnav's emotions so that he doesn't get into his bad books later.
"Arre! Don't you know our ASR! He must be burning in fire of vengeance! Let's scratch the itch which he cannot!" laughed Aniket as Rakesh joined him.
"But what will we do?" asked Rakesh, unable to think of something which could make 'the Khushi Gupta' bend down.
"Let's do something in which we get double benefit. We will also become ASR's favorites and our desires will also be fulfilled. What did she say that day? One real man is enough for her and nothing can buy her. We will prove her wrong," replied Aniket, evil smirk gracing his lips as pictured Khushi pleasuring him in the way he deems fit.
Rakesh seemed hesitant but nodded to Aniket's plan since nothing else seemed to knock at his mind, even conscience did not.

Next Day,
"What did you do to my friend, Arnav Singh Raizada? She was with me till twenty-five minutes and she suddenly vanished. Her mobile is switched off, no one knows where she is. What did you do with her?" shouted Payal, holding his collar in a tough grip.
Arnav stood astounded and shocked. Neither was he responsible for her missing nor did he ask anyone to kidnap her. Where could she go?
"Maybe her mobile's battery went down. Maybe she is in Canteen or she had an emergency and suddenly left. But in no way am I responsible for this," answered Arnav, signing to Akash to free him from her grip while Akash seemed to care less.
"Surely enough, she would vanish into thin air for any of that. She would at least take a gate pass I guess. I don't think she would resort to scaling the walls if she left the campus and she is not in the canteen. You better tell where she is. Is she with one of your cronies?" she demanded, her eyes throwing daggers at him.
"Yes, Bhai. Where are those two? Rakesh and Aniket? They are always with you and they seem to be missing from the scene. Did you ask them to avenge you by any chance?" questioned Akash, finally breaking his silence.
The lightning struck! Maybe his cronies took it on themselves to take revenge for him. Their attraction towards Khushi and power were equally sinful and blinding. It would not be beyond them to do something beastly and stupid to rise in his ranks.
Arnav immediately freed himself from Payal's grip and began speaking.
"Search each and every classroom in this campus. I am pretty sure Khushi is with Rakesh and Aniket. Those idiots!" he instructed as he began to go towards the building which his gang often frequented. Something told him that his gang members would use the same building.
Luck did not seem to side with him till he had opened the third door on the right. The vision which greeted him was horrendous to watch and despite being a street fighter who had seen violence and gruesome visuals, he seemed to lose his breath.
Khushi's clothes were tattered as she struggled against Rakesh and Aniket. The two of them were covered in bruises and nail marks showing the struggle she had put up. The remnants of her clothing barely covered her but her spirit had not gone down. She looked every bit of a warrior as she took on a defensive position in a corner as two lusty men eyed her as nothing more than a piece of meat.
That was the moment where Arnav Singh Raizada was proven completely wrong. The conflict between two worlds had ended. Triumphs were registered. Honor over ego. Dignity over lust. Heart over brain. Righteousness over Prejudice. So many victories but he had lost something dear: his heart, to the one who was fighting for her dignity, honor and righteousness with her heart.
