DK's beard - goti-van gogh cross ?

I did notice catching sight of Ashish Nayyar accidentally on Zee sometime back (I think it was some cookery program, way before I got inveigled into watching TD) and realized that he doesn't sport the goti-van gogh cross beard in real life ? Does such a beard have a formal name to enlighten ignoramus me ?

You should certainly mention to Ashish that his fans both in India (& US, I must say) find that the beard greatly amplifies the plains of his shape and makes him very attractive indeed ! I typically like clean-shaven men as a rule. Maybe he should sport it in real life to make things easier, unless he has a spouse/significant other that is partial to clean-shaven men.

I watch from the US and typically would watch to bug/irritate my mom with my sarcastic comments about the various other soaps that she would watch. Having caught sight of DK & Disha in TD, I fell prey to my own trap ....

Now my mother has gotten her chance.

Oh, so funny you fell into your own trap! TD is unusual, isn't it? Glad you like! I also like the whole beard thingy, even though I usually prefer clean-shaven. Wish my husband would try it.....
