100% correct analysis. either they think viewers are extremely stupid that just by showing bit of the romance, sometimes funny but quite frequently over the top antics and using an attractive and talented cast they can sell anything and viewer will forget everything. well mostly they are right. We are stupid.
the vanvaas track is being reduced to nothing more than shivaay and family living at a different place, Hell even k3g has better pseudo vanvaas track with Shahrukh khan and kajol (and they never termed it as vanvaas). Okay in the era of mobile phone/consistent flight connectivity and other things it is slightly difficult to show an isolated vanvaas track but i still believed they could have handled it way better than they are currently handling. the inconsistency and illogical things are increasing day by day and it is slowly turning into a DBO. I am not even some couple fan and i still believe this si the best chance for the development of each character but they kind of butchered it.
1. Shivaay- what i expected? A shivaay devoid of NKK. Being pushed to the boundaries in business world. ( that file incident could have been handled better). Struggling and making his name against all odds. where he will finally get rid of last ounce of NKK from his blood. also much more bonding with Anika on equal terms.
what we get is just same shivaay living in a different house. nothing else.
2. Anika- what i expected? A strong pre marriage anika. Even anika joining/starting her own marriage catering business to support the house. a no nonsense strong anika with bit more maturity.
what we get is a different damsel in distress anika with simply illogical inconsistencies. so can anyone tell me that how she raised sahil independently? this is not even stereotyping but whether its a girl or a boy if he/she is living/growing up alone, a simple cooking/cleaning is like no rocket science. Leave alone cooking they are showing like anika is struggling for even cleaning the house. Means this will look funny if it had been a role reversal or anika had a billionaire background where she is struggling to do simple chores or lets even assume she was studying for mbbs /ias and her parents didnt alow her to even clean a single plate or something or sahil and anika have scores of maids in the house (means if they had shown jhanvi like this that might still be acceptable). But a lone person (and raising a child) struggling for simple chores. Illogical.
3. Omkara- what we expected? this was the perfect time when they could have easily focus on the different characters. Om (just like Bharat of Ramayana) taking business to new heights (lets assume in the name of shivaay like ram charan paduka that bharat put). Also what exactly happened to OM. So drab. so meek.
what we get is a meek and drab om who need to run to shivaay for every problem. Shivaay is slowly turning into tulsi/parvati bhabhi for star plus.
4. rudy- I simply do not care about ruvya and rumya because i feel before any ru+ xyz, the "ru" need to be developed. How on earth someone can imagine rudra as married husband based on his current character. this is like "old 80's movies that larka awaara hain ..iski shaadi kara do sudhar jaayega" . rudra character has so much potential to improve and develop. Let him develop first. (you dont need to turn him into a shivaay or om copy for development), but he can be his own developed avatar. the "manchild" things look "cute" on tv but in real life it simply doesnt work. One can be extremely fun to hangout with without being immature and i am just saying lets rudra move to that stage before all this marriage track.
5. Soumya/Bhavya- well their characterization are like incosnsitent benchmark. Why do they bring soumya back. nless and until they want to show soumya as 3rd sister of nafratbaaz, what role her character is playing. Or they can show bhavya as 3rd sister turning into negative after marriage and soumya trying to expose bhavya in front of rudra and getting abused time to time. if both these possibilities are not there then i dont think soumya have a role to play. and where were these 2 for months?
6. Gauri- this was the best chance for Gauri to emerge as a normal star plus bahu in Oberoi mansion. thats why i am saying, let shivaay anika handle vanvaas and let om-gauri handle OM/Business to carry out two parallel character developments and also focus on two storylines. the everything Shivaay will correct is not looking like a very bright idea to me.
7.Villains- DBO villainy is leaking into IB as well. Cameras in bathroom/bedroom. so shivaay and anika are married couples and not siblings. What exactly veer is watching in a couples bedroom. also bathroom. And how does he have access to so different high end sci fi drugs, hacking and what not. Blood tranfusions, paralytic drugs, hacking things. this is some serious level stuff which even mossad/cia will be proud of. If i had been an out and out villain and with cameras everywhere, my biggest bargaining chip would be the videos that i recorded and not some drug or ghost stories.
And this boys vs girls or boys group girls group looks okay on some college passout. Personally i dont like it on Shivay-anika and Gauri-Om. Just for the sake of misplaced "Youthfulness" they are showing them out of character. Its like 2 couples (mature and married) going somewhere and then ideas come let wives sleep in one room and husband sleep in another. wait what! and they have like 1 bhk? Such a big house is just 1 bhk?
