I just got caught up on this week's episodes and I'm happy that we're getting to know about Sharanya's past with Shiv. Although I do feel that all loose ends will not be tied till Vyom's version of the story clashes with Sharanya's memories of Shiv and herself.

Anyway my title refers to the Sharanya I saw today. For the first time in 3 months, I felt a certain depth in the character. Maybe because this is the actual Sharanya - how she used to be and what she used to feel - before she lost her memory. I am not saying that everyone around her has entirely lied to her; in fact i hope that is not the case. But end of the day, she was operating on information fed to her without any recollection what her life was actually like in those few years.

Her desperation to touch Shiv and feel him now that she remembers what he meant to her - it was terrible watching her like that. Both love stories need to be elaborated more in terms of what actually happened before I pick a ship (if at all I do) but Sharanya was so RAW with her emotions that it makes one thing very evident - whatever her love story with Shiv was, his separation was enough to destroy her.

Special mention - The ghost's white mask coming off as Sharanya brushes away the ice from Shiv's face! In a way, this indicates that ultimately it is she who will set Shiv's soul free to depart the Earth.

Beautifully written. So true...I felt so sad for them...the way she cried broke my heart. Felt like giving her a hug...poor thing

Great analysis!

Yes this is the first time since the pilot that Sharanya felt real in anyway. I felt her frustration during the first week or so of the episodes but after that it always felt like she had given up on gaining back the memories she had lost. It kind of felt like she had gotten so swept up in the present and was just going along for the ride in a way. As if she had given up having any control over her life, and I can't blame her because she never had any background information and was making choices that weren't really choices. In a way her family, Vyom etc cornered her. So to see her spirit spark alive when she realized what she had lost, it was amazing. I was genuinely crying as I watched.

Till today she acted how her family wanted to be & her In laws wanted to be. She never used her brain even once what ever fed to her she accepted it. Today we saw real Sharanya one who was in love with Shiv deeply.

her pain was evident in her actions that eagerness to touch him once hug him once melts anyone's heart.

When she wiped off ice from his face ghost Shiv's face turned to natural colour no more white putty colour on his face now.

Thank you. I really felt bad for Sharanya yesterday. Yea she needed a hug so badly :(

You say it right. Sharanya stopped being proactive in trying to get her memory back and that made me lose connect with her. I don't blame her for wanting to live in the present but her choice to marry Vyom and blame the spirit for everything gone wrong was very random and had no basis. She did resist her family's attempt of trying to make her accept Vyom so it's not like she was forced into anything.

I missed that Sharanya who didn't do it because she didn't 'feel' it. I identify with that sentiment. I don't identify with deciding to marry a guy and worse consumating that marriage to 'defeat' a GHOST! Makes no sense whatsoever.

I don't think she acted entirely because that's what her family wanted. She really resisted reconciling with Vyom despite their best attempt. This was HER choice. But it was a choice she took for the wrong reasons and hence it didn't resonate. But yesterday, she was very raw and unhindered in letting out her agony when she remembered Shiv. It was heartbreaking!

Now what will happen to sharanya... When she will recall all the blames she will be shattered and shiv will just console her by his presence... I want more n more shivanya scene... Her wrong decision to marry vyom by thinking of defeating the ghost has made everything so miserable...

Yes, I definitely did not like her solution to the ghost issue at all. But the way I see it, in retrospect, she was still working off of partial information. On top of that she working off of advice from a person/people who also only had partial information. This was also the same time she met Sadhvi who kept urging her to marry Vyom and then to consummate/smoke out the ghost that way. So all in all, I guess I'm more sympathetic towards her in retrospection lol. She should have stood up stronger IMO, and made more of an effort to find herself before jumping into marriage etc. But also Vyom was really pushy, people will probably disagree but he seriously should have given her more time. She herself told him this many times, but he always managed to find a way back into her life. But I understand that being there in her position, it might have been too overwhelming with the parental pressure, Vyom's parents, Vyom, and Shiv's attempts of contacting her on top of that. So she allowed herself to just be in the present, and basically played the role of the person she thought she was supposed to be.
