Vikas played... as simple as that...

Today it got proved that shilpa does not change her morals out of the fear of the repurcussions. Vikas lied even in the slime task to escape getting slime thrown on him. In that very task Shilpa accepted everything truthfully and was underred knowing well that she would be drenched in slime.This is a proof enough of how strong their principles in life are. A BB task is not worthy of going against your basic nature and regretting it later. She follows her heart that is a commendable quality.

That would've been truly commendable of her, had she not already been mean umpteen times through the season, outside of tasks. So no, the task does not go against her basic nature - it, in fact, goes in line with it. What she's also done throughout the season, is say and do all manner of crap, and then go and sit on her mahaanta mountain - mujhe nahin samajh aata khel, main nahin khel sakti, ye log kya kya karte hain, etc etc. Sau choohe khakhe billi haj ko chali.

Vikas, Hina - they all play the game - the difference is that they don't claim otherwise when it's convenient and sympathy-time. What happened today is that Shilpa yet again didn't do a task, and is not a contender for the next one, and Vikas managed to save his clothes and had his Shilpa couldn't care less about tasks' proven right. In other words - Vikas played - which, incidentally, is a normal requirement in a game show.
