Today's episode brings to my mind ,scratches, cuts, lacerations, wounds.. the opening scene is dramatic, Sharanya puts Shiv is in the docks! on trial for attempting to kill Sharanya and Vyom, for murdering her father Ram. She demands reason for his spate of killings. In return, Shiv exhibits his spiritual supremacy, and breaks her sacred nuptial bond symbol ,the mangalsutra. Vyom he riddles with flying shrapnel of mirrors which reflected Shiv's images! Vyom injuries are graphic and horrific, his face, chest and abdomen are targeted. Even if he survives, Vyom's face is likely to have some unpleasant scarring...

Sharanya frenzied dares to Shiv , to reveal himself!! he heeds to, in some shattered pieces of mirror.. she views herself with Shiv in the past.. she swoons under the strain of the strange revelation; at the sight of her fallen, lacerated husband.. his blood gushes out and makes way to the sacred boundary of ashes! This would break the power of the boundary, which keeps the spirit away from getting to them. But then this dark wandering spirit does get to both of them. Sharanya he shows a FB of them both in the past, and Vyom.. well.. Shiv laughs and recites a warning to Sharanya , "I wish you had lost your heart to me'. I would have spared you. There wouldn't be any pain, questions, or bloodshed. I wish you had called me affectionately.

So this whole scenario that Sharanya created to capture the tormented Shiv , really worked to Shiv's advantage and Sharanyas disadvantage..

The severing, losing the mangulsutra, spells doom and gloom for Sharanya.Her in laws, blame her for putting Vyom's life in serious danger. Vyom's timely call of SOS, does bring his family to his assistance. But Sharanya is totally held responsible for exposing Vyom once more to danger. Questions are raised about her being without a scratch? While Vyom ends up critical. The bed ,mirrors are deemed as some acts of sorcery Sharanya practiced on Vyom. Her sincerity , and motives are severely questioned.

Vyom's condition brings out such unreasonable militancy from his family, that half given the chance, they would gladly scratch Sharanya's name out of their family, as her manner of being Vyom's protective wife is not up to the scratch!

From Chandni's son Rab, to an enraged madhvi, to a cold Rajan, and a gloating Chandni.. all show how Vyom's next of kin, his wife ,is reduced to dirt in the hospital , where a wife is not allowed to see her husband. Rather she is blamed, slapped and literally kicked out of the hospital.

To me this brings home the fact , that in many cultures, a woman , marries not only a man ,but his family too. In worse situations, the in laws play a vital role in bringing in harmony or total chaos in a marriage. For the purpose of story line drama, the situation is well out of hand as, grief clouds the family's judgement.

Are all these events, veering Sharanya towards, another destination? where she is likely to find answers to those questions which she keeps asking this spirit named Shiv? well, now that Vyom's family has turned its back to her! what is Sharanya's next step? Better still is Sharanya , going to ponder about the fact , that how come she ended up unscathed, unblemished, unmarked in the horrific ordeal????

A fervent devote, when life goes to pieces, tends to blame its personal diety. Sharanya does so too, with the piece of glass drenched in Vyom's blood in her palm, she storms off to devi Maa's temple.

Sharanya is blamed, in turn she blames Sadhvi, for being unable to see the inevitable predicament her instructions have put Vyom in.. the pious sage's faith too shakes under the cries of a broken and hurt believers misfortunes. Sharanya holds Sadhvi responsible, feels betrayed and vows never to return to the temple or Sadhvi. The spiritually shaken Sadhvi asks for one final attempt at helping Sharanya..she implores the mother goddess to show Sharanya the answers to her questions...Sharanya stops a while. Helpless before the altar of the mother goddess who looks down at this young broken hearted girl, with her benign eyes..

Outside the temple Shiv, smirks at the goddess and recites, challengingly at Sharanya.."Even gods bow down in front of love. Forget about temples and mosques... the answers to your questions are with your lover..

Overall a sad episode, especially for Sharanya , she seemed ,alone, vulnerable... but was misjudged... like she has uptilL now miscalculated the spirit Shiv. To me , her FB with Shiv, is significant, and then at the temple getting the message she'll find her answers in Kapli hills, is the step in the right direction for her.. she needs to start picking up her past two years, from scratch. Without a doubt a praise worthy performance by Donal , as the devastated Sharanya .. hamlet53 9.1.18

I was traveling hence missed an important episode but you have analysed it so beautifully that I felt like I have watched the episode.

So sharanya and shiv indeed were lovers. That means vyom was the stalker. So what will be Sharanya's reaction on remembering past...how will she feel when she will remember that she has betrayed her Shiv..

yes she saw herself with shiv... the very figure in the mirrors..her reaction was she passed out

Sorry to say but the makers and director has not given the viewers heart touching scene as expected. Sharanya is made to look heartless...

My thoughts:

Vyom - was such a mute bystander in this whole affair. What makes him silent? Is he guilty or overwhelmed? Is he just a Bali ka bakra? Did his father make a bakra out of him? What part of the Shiv-Sharanya story is Vyom actually aware of? Was he innocently away for most part of it, or had he truly gone mad? Has Madhavi seen what love for Sharanya has done to her an in the past and is that why she kept rejecting Sharanya?

interesting thoughts, vyom, also wanted sharanya, to dismiss the spirit as a figment of her imagination... that made him appear grey.. all the questions you pose , are what cvs still withold the answers too.. till,I suspect like Sharanya we too travel to Kapali hills..

Shiv has risen from the dead in his passion. True. His love has triumphed over death.

i was always keen to find out.. if Sharanya ever loved anyone????

The deity in Kapali Hills - why did the temple affect them both?

perhaps the deity witness to their relationship.

Sadhvi is white - that is some relief. she always meant well

Odhni tries to communicate with Shiv through black magic, while the godly sadhvi tries to contain him...I feel Rajan will take advantage of her powers in his battle against Shiv and Sharanya.

this is such a brilliant comparison,mate, enjoyed reading it. yes agree rajan will once try to split them, like he did before.. based on assumptions...
