its quite understandable why the raichands are not career oriented. For example just look at bwood star wifes. How many of them has a career? Evebthough some works its soley coz of their hobbies or to kill boredom. Shahid kapoor married a 20-21 year old girl and she dont look ambitious much. Gauri khan was a house for so many years and only recently she started to have a career as an interior designer. They have too much money and was brought up that way.
Its not necessasy that ever girl need to be career oriented or ambitious. Even today there are woman wh tginks marriage is the ultimate goal.
