Here Is The Update For 12th February, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
The episode begins with Makhan, Akrithi and Major Sharma in the mess and the two cadets are facing the music. Major is a strict disciplinarian and she asks Akrithi if she cannot mingle with others how would she fight a war, which is all about team work. To Makhan it is about eating properly and having the proper table manners. Suriji intervenes and says that cadets are young they will learn or something. But Major is strict and wants the cadets to be disciplined, And asks Makhan to eat potatoes with knife and fork. After hesitating a while, Makhan has no other option but to try. Try he does. Only to make a design on the spotless uniform of the Major Vaibhavi. Potatoes flies and lands on her uniform.
And Major Vaibhavi says till those two learn that no food. Makhan has to learn table manners – that is eat with spoon / knife and fork. Akrithi till she learns to mingle with the rest. She asks Suriji to get the message and Suriji says that he got it.
Scene is with Makhan practicing to use the fork and knife and Peter in his usual way troubles him and Makhan is upset when Peter once more bring up the chambal and Makhan's family. He warns Peter. But Peter still provokes and Makhan stands up. But once more sits down saying he had promised Mom of not being a dacoit or not , something not very clear.
And when at some point under Peter's Provocations, Makhan responds with the age old saying that how ever hard you try to straighten a dog's tail, it stays bent. So is the case with Peter, who does not listen and as always is into old ways of provoking Makhan, of Makhan's family and his background. Peter is bit taken aback.
Scene is with Gunny and Abhimanyu. The chess board is laid out. They are thinking out as to who should be the one to talk to the Hitler. Gunny is holding the confiscated cards of Rummy and Abhimanyu says that those cards are to be with the Major General or with the Major Vaibhavi. Gunny evades giving an answer. Gunny says who ever picks the lower numbered card gets to speak with Major Vaibhavi. Gunny shuffles and lays the cards on the table and Abhimanyu picks the King and Gunny says he has a way with cards and picks out one, there is a light smile on his face.
Scene reverts to Makhan and Peter who still provokes Makhan, who says he would beat Peter. Peter asks Makhan whether he is frightening him that is Peter. Peter pretends to be scared. Then tells Makhan he is a nincompoop. This word is not understood by Makhan who tries to repeat the word but without success.
In the girls room, with Vidya and Akrithi. Akrithi is fidgety and restless because of lack of food. Then Purvi joins in as she was bored in her room. She offers chocolates and Akrithi wonders as to how Purvi's chocolates got in while her packet of noodles were not allowed. Vidya and Purvi get talking while Akrithi pads her ears. Vidya removes those pads and offers the chocolates but Akrithi declines.
Major Vaibhavi is alone in her room and opens her cupboard for something. Inside the cupboard she notices her Red Saree and is in reflective mood. At this point there is a knock and when she opens door, she finds Abhimanyu.
Obviously, Gunny drew the Ace.
Abhimanyu apologizes for disturbing her at this later hour but since and as he understood that she only took administrative decisions and by ordering Suriji not to give food to the two cadets she strayed into his area of work. Major invites the Captain in and puts question that discipline is her area, yes or no, answer from Abhimanyu is yes. The staff and the captains are report to her , yes or no, answer is yes. But Abhimanyu, too continues in the same way to win the situation. He says as the Vice Principle and the one in charge of the training sessions is it not his concern and duty to see that cadets are well fed and given the right food, and that they, the faculty members work as a team and see that the cadets are well trained without much discomfort, Yes or No ? Yes is the answer. Major turns to say something but Abhimanyu continues to say, smilingly, of course, that it is their responsibility to work as a team, shoulder to shoulder, and deliver. Then he slowly gets the pack of cards of Rummy, and asks her to pick one, as Rummy Guar says it represents the picker. Then he hands over the pack of cards and walks out leaving a Major Vaibhavi lost for words, for once.
Scene is some where along the corridor and Makhan is practicing the word "nincompoop" when Rummy catches up. And on his query, Makhan says that he is learning English. Rummy offers to teach him a few words, to use whenever Peter troubles him in future. Well needlessly to say that Rummy teaches the Four lettered and unprintables to Makhan and they go off somewhere.
In the mess all are there when Major walks in to ask Makhan as to which Hand he uses the fork, to which Makhan lifts the left hand and says "Right", and Major asks a funny looking Makhan whether he is trying to be smart with her. In a way Makhan got his answer right.
The Major Revokes her order of no food to the two cadets.
Then during their run the cadets are discussing the strictness of Major Vaibhavi and Peter and Rummy speak of their fathers strictness and of Major Bhargav.
Some where outside Gunny and Abhimanyu are discussing of Major Vaibhavi and sticking to their says of "I am Right and you are wrong". Gunny says each one has his own point of view and unlike what Abhimanyu said.
