Years of Silence
After what all that happened a few moments before their was an awkward silence. None of them uttered a single word , for the first time in so many years since the are together. The only thing that could be heard was that song that he played before proposing her.
She was having fun with nawab while he was standing beside her watching with his intense looks.He too joined both of them. All three of them were having fun together and after a while nawab dozed off. He didn't wanted to waste this time when they were going to be together for the last time as she was returning to her home the very next day.
They both stood up and he pinned her to the wall.He gently ran his fingers through her hairs ,then rested his hand on the side of her face. Her whole body tensed as she tried to understand what was happening. Her heart was going wild in her chest and she only hoped he couldn't notice the way her breathe hitched as he just stepped closer.
She gazed into his hazel eyes, but found that he was glancing down towards her lips. Before she could do anything his lips came down to meet hers. His thumb brushed her cheeks as he leaned into the kiss and she subconsciously moved her hands to his shoulders.
Many things were going into their minds at the same time but they refused to listen to their mind and did what their hearts permitted them. They even refused to pause for breathe untill they were breathless...
None of them uttered a single word but their actions reciprocated their emotions.
Mauhabbat mein, lafzo se jayada,
Khamoshiyan bol jaati hai,
Voh mauhabbat, jo khamoshiyon ko samajh jaati hai,
Samajh lo mukambal ho jaati hai.
