Can see the love in Sameer's eyes!

I just want to say that in today's episode, it was quite evident what Sameer feels for Naina. The fact that he is dreaming up scenarios in which he apologizes to Naina is enough proof how much he feels for her. Also, look at his eyes when Shanti ma'am asks him who the flowers are for. He blurts out "Naina without thinking, and seems to be lost in her for a few seconds before changing his answer. The way he looks at her after the pen tapping, the desperation for her attention, etc. Yes, he wants her to forgive him, but it can't be only that.

I know many here are impatient to see lovey dovey Sameer - that Sameer who is physically attracted to Naina, and not just acting out of guilt. Trust me, I am also quite impatient to see all that myself😆. But the fact is, and I have mentioned it before too, Sameer is already physically attracted to her. Yes, he hasn't said it yet, neither has the voiceover mentioned it, but it's there. After that chudail prank in Mount Abu, he really saw her in a new light. Sometimes, physical attraction doesn't necessarily come first. You can be impressed with someone's personality and goodness, and then the attraction can stem from there. And that attraction was evident from that campfire episode, and again in the boating scene, candy floss scene, etc.

But for argument's sake, let's just say he isn't that physically attracted to her yet. Still, isn't it so wonderful to see him fall for Naina, her persona, her soul, and the affect she has on him, without the emphasis on her outer beauty, clothes, etc.? I mean, what can be more beautiful than that? 😳 Like I said before, the physical part of it will come - let Sameer apologize to Naina first, let him get a hold of himself. I am sure the makers have many surprises in store for us soon!

Meanwhile it has been wonderful to watch someone as self absorbed, arrogant, image conscious as Sameer to fall for studious behenji Naina not only for her physical beauty. How often does one see that in a desi soap?

Regarding love,Naina's VO clearly stated that Sameer fell in love with her that day in the boat episode. Campfire night, sunrise & boating all happened within 24 hours. Isnt that proof enough? Although I think part of the fandom might feel more at ease if the male VO mentions something about his love for her even at this stage.

I think the way he was advancing in the precap when Naina is blindfolded, physical attraction is playing a subtle role in there! 😉 This awareness may be dormant and Sameer is yet to realize but it is very much there. The other incident which crops in my mind is the one where after the Romeo-Juliet play he holds Naina's hand in class and tries to kiss her hand ... and this was after seeing her in sipahi avtaar! 😆 Ab yeh physical attraction nahi toh kya hai considering the 90's era! 😃

I dont remember much about the Romeo Juliet track. I was not totally on board at that time because all the mocking, name calling, the bet & drama to patao her and Naina's desperation made me a little uncomfortable. I have a natural tendency to not trust desi CVs and TBH the kind of shows this PH makes is not at all the kind I would watch😳 YUDKBH so different and it took me time to realize it & appreciate it.

We should not forget YUDKBH story is based in the 90s in a smaller town in India so we are not going to get the pull, push, TFC (trip fall catch) hyperventilating kinda romances which are so popular inn dinon... thank God for small mercies! It is about simpler, happier times and mostly the innocence of the teens back then so it the love & attraction has been handled differently.

@ bold - true😉 He is not blindflolded and it is only his desperation to apologize so he couldnt resist walking right into her open arms amid so many people and calls her name when he is really really close to her😉

Lovely post! May I know your name? As everyone pointed he felt the first strings of physical attraction for her on the day of his birthday. And not to forget she was in that much hated bhalu dress. 😆

But I think what caught his attention was her beauty. If you recall it was the first day she had her hair open in front of him and she definitely captivated him. We have seen him ask her to leaves her hair open a few times. That to me is a sign of physical attraction. But since he thinks he is incapable of loving someone and had very poor examples of what Love is in his life he is yet to acknowledge that feeling... the feeling of being drawn to her like a moth when she is around. And the camp fire, the boating, the sunrise... everywhere he was only looking at her intensely. And the candy floss scene, that look he gave her. All those are physical signs of attraction that he is yet to realize or give a name to.

thought of her as behenji and mocked her behind her back. I am referring
to the moment she arrived to the cake cutting & eating scene. I
just wanted to mention that even though they
have not stressed on the physical attraction from Sameer, there have
been moments where one could sense it especially after the chudail
prank.

In and since Mt Abu trip, he has been
overwhelmed by her loving,
caring gestures and burdened by his guilt and fear of hurting her,
loosing her. He hesitated
before he refuted Pandit's claim that he has genuinely fallen in love
with her in their conversation before Naina gave him the sweater. So
maybe he knows what he has begun to feel for her but doesnt want to
acknowledge it even to himself or even think about it. They have even
shown him to run away from emotions, not wanting to get
close to anyone so they cant hurt him. Sameer said this the night before
he left for Mt Abu after he got angry thinking Vishaka hung up on him,
not wanting to talk to him.

Too
much happened too soon for both of them, its a lot to process. It might take a while to
acknowledge his feelings for her as love. When that happens, I trust
these CVs to show us that moment as beautiful as Naina's confession.

He cares for her deeply,
respects her despite himself and has long admired various attributes in
her. While it would be wonderful to see him struggle with his love &
attraction
for her even in his super guilty phase, these CVs are
pretty creative and perhaps they are not showing it for reason, at the moment. All we
can do is wait and watch. They might think that any sign of physical
attraction under the circumstances might diminish the overall 'masoom'
love that has been shown so far.

Thanks so much for such a long well thought out response! I agree the attraction probably started during his birthday, and there have been many moments since then that suggest he is attracted to her. But yes, if it is mentioned specifically in the voiceover, I'm sure many will be elated at that!

And yes, it's awesome to see this kind of a presentation of love in a daily soap - very refreshing!
