Anika and Shivay are true companions: friends, lovers, rebels, family, all bunched into one relationship and complete in each other's company. It's the pinnacle of a relationship one gets to achieve. Some take years to build this and it's a rare occurrence, at least to watch this evolution onscreen.
As is usually said, you can never control who you fall in love with. It can happen even when you're in the most sad, confused time of your life. You don't fall in love with people because they're fun. It just happens. A very few times in your life, if one was lucky, they get to meet someone who was exactly right for them. Not because he/she was perfect, or because you were, but because your combined flaws were arrayed in a way that allowed two separate beings to hinge together as one unit. Its then that instead having changed for the other, one feels transformed in love. Shivay and Anika are TRANSFORMED in love. They are willing to do things FOR each other.
Lots of people can call you by your name but there is only one person who can make it sound so special. I am in love with the way Shivay calls out to his biwi with an AYE Anika and his self-talk about yeh LADKI kahan gayi. Has so much apnapan. The way Anika was going SSO at Shivay looks so cute and adorable. Who could have imagined Anika can go all out and very effectively depict or shift to being the wife yearning for her husband? Not generally seen in shows I must say, or they go the clichd route by making the wife EACH time max would set up the bed or the dcor to get into the mood. Such lovely domesticity even in this scene where she talks about shampooing 5 times and also emphasizes that the shampoo is over by the way and that he only has to get it. LOVE it.
Another beautiful moment between them was the way he helps Anika sit up after she wakes up from Veer's atrocious skills of rescue. He holds her by her knees to help her straighten her legs /move away from the armrest of the sofa and sit upright. That's so beautiful to see. Such domesticity in a scene is lovely.
Shivay or Anika repeating or reiterating facts about neev/aapke saath khushi are all a formality now. In a relationship where one says to other that he/she loves the other just a ceremonious validation of what they already know. Yet the way in which the dialogues are stressed, with variations as they speak, adds a new dimension to the already known fact that they CARE and LOVE each other. You are my strength is what Shivay tells Anika. But each time, Shivay tells this to Anika, it sounds heartfelt.
Through both the tears and the laughter, we are stronger than ever before. When we are together, the world feels like it is in perfect harmony. This suits best for the space that Shivika are in right now. Loved it when Shivay realizes her attempts to lighten the situation and goes SO Anika So Anika. Haan bhai. We know too. Amazing that he acknowledges now that she has gone through a lot, WITH him par kabhi UFF tak nahi kiya. She is living up to her words and thoughts...Aapke saath koi pareshani nahi.
So here goes: Shivay is impressed by Veer. Veer is impressed by Anika. Anika is impressed by GL Monali. So what completes the loop. Monali being impressed by Shivay??. Chalo bring it on.

All Anika was expected to do was catch hold of the lady in black instead of turning back to Veer. Chalo, logic toh is out of question.
Shivay wanted to shift Svet's attention towards him. Toh he should be expecting such things na? Chalo Shivay, prove you ARE smart.
