I did not say casual. But could not be selfless love either could it? For someone who has waited for 12 years for Diya without meeting her seems to have given up too soon. Also I didn't like his threat of committing suicide. Is that love? I like what Yash banna said... that Abhay cornering Diya this way was not good.

Grownups love is more complicated than the love that comes at a young age when people are carefree and life is simple. With age comes other priorities and love has to compete with these other emotions.

yeh will agree with you that though abhay waited for her for 12 years but he din't tried to understand her. As he din't spend get any time to spend with her. might be his patience to wait for her ended seeing her going with other guy and kaki ma sa word added fuel to it.

about ratansa we can see he is not mature so can't expect it from him. but from abhay sa

Love does not need time. And we do not know how long Diya knew Abhay and how long their courtship lasted. Even a few months there would have lasting impact especially given how she has spent the last 12 years. But is Abhay's a selfless, giving kind of love? A person can love without understanding the partner. But that is not love in the purest form but is still love... especially after the suicide attempt.

He waitied without talking to her...assuming she has moved on in her life... why would he not wish her well... especially if he truly loves her? Sorry to say this.. but many attacks on women happen only by this logic. Abhay waited, Diya never asked him to nor promised to marry him... So why kill himself in her house and guilt her out into a marriage?
