What's up with Bulbul's Dad?

I haven't watched last week's episodes. Did I miss something? Why is it that Bulbul's Dad kept on looking guilt ridden? Instead of being shocked and alarmed, the expression on his face was like that he already knew something fishy is gonna happen o_O

I agree.In fact he didn't look surprised at all when the run away groom surfaced all of a sudden out of no where. I think just before wedding ceremony started someone called him and the scene was cut there to some other scene. This was in the previous episode

Yes it looks like he got blackmailed by someone but the fact remained that he also agreed to it and he's going to take away Bulbul ... then it is no more a shame when Bulbul first groom runaway he was going to set fire on both his daughter and himself and now???
Or this is a way of him to protect Bulbul as he saw Mandira entering Vijay room.
