Biwi no 1 was one of the most regressive movies of 90's,the film will be panned today if they remake it...they would have to change the major portion of the film...

If infidelity is so comic then how come they never make a comedy movie on wife cheating on husband and then husband more than happy to take her back? we have biwi no. 1,gharwali baharwali but no pati no.1 or gharwala baharwala...it would not be surprising at all if the remake of this garbage proves to be a hit too...movies that do not show woman as more than sexual objects can be blockbusters than biwi no.1 can be too...says a lot about how much we have moved ahead...90s mein yeh movie chalti thi ab bhi chal hi jaayengi🤢

Salman cheats on his wife, moves in with his GF and then goes back to his wife after the GF's ex drops in one day. So it's basically like, you can cheat on your wife but if your lover happens to run into her ex, you have problems. And worse is your wife accepts you despite a huge case of adultery. 'Regressive' is an understatement here.

varun is a good actor but should stop doing remakes of salman n govinda...especially his father's film...
