Hi guys! Thank you much for the great feedback ❤️,hopefully you will like this part as well . As for young Shravan and Suman they don't necessarily look like the ones from the show.You guys can imagine them looking more like the grown up ones . This part concludes the main back story ,next update will be more of the present! Excuse my mistakes 😳
Part 3
Shravan's relationship with Urvashi didn't last long, he couldn't stand her! She was from a rich family, always acting like a brat, selfish and self obsessed ! Yes she was the hottest girl at school and guys were crazy over her but he wasn't and didn't regret dumping her!
"You need to lose some weight girl! You can't even fit into these shorts properly" Urvashi laughed with her friends holding up sumo shorts .Urvashi became even more jealous when Suman Tiwari was starting to get recognized more from the boys at school .
"trust me you don't want the boys to see your fatty legs "
Sumo was finally starting to wear shorts for gym class but hearing such critics made her think otherwise .
Sumo gave her a cold stare snatching her shorts
"And trust me no guy wants to see your stick legs!"she replied tersely annoyed of Urvashi's taunts.
"How dare you! There not like sticks I'm just slim! Right girls?" She tried getting validation from her friends who just nodded unsurely.
"You better keep wearing your pants and cover your legs if you don't want to traumatize the whole school"
Shravan heard this as he walked pass ! He frowned his brows angrily hearing such humiliating words towards Suman .All his friends seemed to be targeting Suman for no fault of hers.
"And you better keep your mouth shut before you traumatize the whole school with you F*** up mentality !"his furious tone startled Suman.
Urvashi chuckled staring at Shravan unbelievably "Your defending this B**** over me Shravan?"
"Don't you dare insult her!" He warned seething his words and stood close to Suman
Everyone at school knew that Urvashi and Shravan were going out but when he defended Suman in front of everyone .Urvashi felt jealous and envious !!
Suman looked up at his tall frame shocked as he stuck up for her.
Suman always kept her distance from Shravan because everyone at school knew they were family friends and Urvashi was so insecure .Whenever they had small talks she always reminded her to stay away from Him!
Suman being the soft one and thinking of others didn't want anything to happen between them because of her .
"Looks like she got you into her ugly spell . Tell me Shravan why are you standing up for her all of a sudden huh? I'm your girlfriend not her!"
"I will always stand up for her! I just never knew bullies like you existed in this school "he darted his eyes
Suman was shocked she never saw him so angry before, he continued to speak up
"I feel embarrassed that I was Dating you . I don't want to be with a girl who can't treat other people right ! It's over Urvashi I won't tolerate such behaviour from you !"
Urvashi gasp unbelievably! Suman felt her heart racing nervously
"What! Your dumping me !?"
"Yup! I really don't need a girl like you in my life!"he said chuckling mockingly "and one more thing ,don't you ever dare insult Suman ! Understand "he warned glancing back at Suman who just stood there shocked!
Everyone in the hall way witnessed Urvashi get dumped by Shravan Malhotra
Shravan was a very attractive guy but he knew how to judge a person. He didn't care about his reputation at all ,he never asked to get the attention.
Urvashi was fuming with anger seeing Shravan holding Suman arm warmly facing her
"Sumo , don't let her step on you like that and next time please let me know if anyone is bothering you, Ill see you later ok "he gave her a assuring smile and walked away giving Urvashi a cold stare .
Almost the whole hallway saw him defending her , she just didn't know what to say ... Urvashi approached her
"Your such a B***h Suman Tiwari you did this on purpose! I knew you were a boyfriend stealer! Now because of you he hates me and dumped me !"
Suman looked on as everyone eyed her disappointingly
"I wonder if he was cheating on me with you while we were dating ! Maybe you managed to make him have A special feeling towards a special body part of yours "she mocked chuckling and continued "That's why he wants to meet you later Alone. We all know what you both do in private "More laughter spread
Suman eyes started watering as she was looking around as students laughed .She took her school bag walking away feeling her heart pull painfully hearing such insults! She was so embarrassed, now everyone at school we're spreading rumours that her and Shravan were a couple! So many allegations on her were spreading around
After school Shravan made his way to Tiwari villa he neared the gates with his school bag . Suman was behind him and stomped towards him angrily !
"Why did you do that ! Now everyone will pick on me even more! " she yelled
Shravan stared on surprised "I didn't do anything wrong someone had to show Urvashi her place ,she can't go around insulting you or anyone like that "
"I could defend myself Shravan ! Now because of you Of you I will get teased even more ! And all the blame for your breakup will fall on me ! Thank you very much !!" She said upsettingly almost had tears in her eyes
Shravan swallowed feeling bad he didn't know she felt this way
"Sumo Im sorry you feel this way but I'm not sorry for standing up for you . I don't care what people will say , I just hated the way Urvashi spoke to you! You don't deserve that and whoever Picks on you don't exist for me anymore"
Suman eyes softened for a second but then anger resurfaced !
"Shravan! You don't understand, everyone at school likes you but I'm not amongst the popular group it just another reason for them to pick on me!"
"No one will do that ! I will take care of it don't worry "
"No ! Stop! You will just make things worst! Already when you defend me in front of everyone they think you're my boyfriend when clearly you're not!!"
There was an awkward silence, They both looked at each other feeling as if they wished it was true
"Then what do you want me to do! I've known you for so long I won't let anyone degrade you! You can't be afraid of what people say . I'm telling you in a couple of days no one will even remember "he defended
"You're not understanding Shravan ! It's not that easy for me and your protectiveness and care doesn't help! First your girlfriend can't get off my back telling me to stay away from you then the boys from your basket ball team throwing comments at me and Bunty all the time! It's like I feel I'm going through the consequences of being your friend"
"Sumo ,I'm so sorry I didn't know that my friendship with you was affecting them so much but I promise I'll take care of it."
"Shravan stop! I don't want your help! I just want you to leave me alone !" She said firmly
Shravan was also getting frustrated; it wasn't going to be easy to stay away from her. He didn't want their friendship to break but it seemed it was heading that way!
They both started arguing, their teenage mood swings got the worst of them
"You barely talk to me at school anymore so what difference does it make!"He argued
"It will make a big difference to me! At least your stupid friends and Girlfriend will leave me alone!!" She yelled back
"She's not my girlfriend anymore!!!" He said annoyed
"Well whatever she is! I don't want to see you anymore!"
Shravan was getting angry and somewhere heartbroken.
"OK then stay with that BUNTY! "He roared, bunty was her new best friend and he didn't like it one bit .
"At least he doesn't seek attention from other peers "She defended
"You think I'm seeking attention purposely! I didn't ask to get recognized like this Sumo and its not my fault that it affected you!"
"Well it did and now I don't want anything to do with you!"
"Fine, if you can't appreciate me as a friend then forget it ! Don't talk to me ever again!"
She startled hearing his voice a pitch higher yet rebuked back "Fine see if I care! I don't need a friend who chases stupid girls anyway!!"
"It's not my fault that I get noticed by them " He yelled back as she walked away from him
He frowned his brows as he saw her stomping in the house; he followed her inside .But she shut her room door on him. He never saw her so upset before .He felt his heart tugging and guilty for screaming at her ; they had casual arguments but nothing serious like this!
"Sumo!! HE knocked on her door "Listen ...Im sorry "
Suman sat heatedly on her bed throwing her pillows on the floor taking out her frustration!
"I said leave me alone!!" She yelled
Shravan couldn't believe she still wasn't opening the door. Usually within minutes they would finish their arguments and say sorry and get back being normal again! He waited but she didn't open the door and walked away disappointed .If she was serious then so be it!
Suman ignored Shravan completely at school everyone seemed to be forgetting the rumour and continuing their normal routine. Of course Urvashi continued giving Suman envious eyes but things seemed to settle down.
Shravan did what he was told, staying away from Suman even when he went over to her house she would just talk to Pushkar or other family member ignoring him. It was odd at first but he got used to it! Pushkar tried asking them what happened but neither of them told him .All they said that they didn't want to talk with each other. Pushkar always felt like he was in the middle, they had disagreement before but never got this serious before! He tried to make them become friends again but none of them were ready.
"Pushkar! Your cheating Suman laughed as they played Mario Kart on the Game cube
Shravan was waiting for his turn on the couch watching a 5 month old Daboo playing on the floor
"Here Shravan Bhaiya your turn! "Pushkar said giving him the controller
"Pushkar take my controller I have homework to finish " She said trying to avoid playing with Shravan .
One afternoon Shravan was playing chess with Nanu, his eyes went on Suman.She was playing with her cousin Dabbu he was 5 months old and a very cute baby .
She was blowing bubbles in his tummy making him laugh adorably. She laughed along, cuing, tickling, and kissing his cheek as he was placed comfortably in her laps.
There was something endearing about her. Seeing her smile and laugh again brought happiness to him. For the pass week she was upset and had a dull face but the smile was back and he was glad! Shravan knew in his heart that he had feelings for Suman, more than anything he wanted to be with her . He realized it when he started dating Urvashi; he was yearning for Suman to be by his side. HE was missing her a lot!
It was almost the end of the year and The Year Ball was just around the corner. Exam session was over, Shravan studied hard to get a good average! He was so happy , he topped on all his subjects making his parents proud! Shravan was hoping that he could amend his friendship with Suman, it's been almost 2 weeks they didn't speak to each other! It was a record breaker!
Shravan took this opportunity to ask Suman to go with him to The Year Ball .He slipped a note in her locker and walked away smiling hopeful that she will accept! She couldn't stay angry at him for this long! He wanted to fix things with her and this was his chance.
Suman was walking out the class room after her tutoring session, she opened her locker just then heard Bunty calling her. She smiled getting into a conversation with him.
Urvashi walked by and saw a note on the floor , she picked it up and fumed with anger ! She couldn't believe Shravan asked Suman to the Year Ball . A wicked smile curved up her lip .
Suman turned around only to see Urvashi holding a paper "It's for me ! Shravan asked me to The Year Ball "she said confidently swaying the paper
Suman was confused and read the note
Hi ,
You want to come to The Year Ball with me? If you show up it will we both forgive each other and move on . It would mean the world to me if you come as my date. It will give us a chance to rekindle our relationship.

Suman looked on , It was his hand writing for sure ! But why would Shravan ask Urvashi to the Ball ? He said that he did t want to be with her especially after that day! He was very angry at Urvashi but what happened all of a sudden? Maybe since she's not talking to him he doesn't care about her anymore .
Suman felt sad seeing that he wanted to rekindle his relation with Urvashi . She took a deep sigh feeling her heart tug painfully, she thought maybe they would talk again and forgive each other and move on.
Suman cleared her head sand swallowed the lump in her throat .She didn't want to get involved in this , if her distance with Shravan was making thing better so be it !
"Congratulations would you like a trophy with that?" Suman asked sarcastically
Urvashi huffed chuckling "Shravan is my trophy, he doesn't care about you Suman .He still loves me "
Suman rolled her eyesand started walking down the hallway , suddenly she felt her eyes glistening not expecting this from Shravan. It was her distance from him that probably resulted in this, he probably took their argument to heart and now he didn't care about her anymore, maybe there friendship was really broken!
She was ready to talk to him again and apologize but now she thought it would be better to stay away and not interfere.
She wiped her tears going to the bathroom stall and locking it .She let all her tears roll down still trying to keep her emotions controlled but the tears wouldn't stop piercing her rosy cheeks.. The whole day her eyes were slightly puffy and nose was pink, her family members got concern but she just brushed it off saying she had a cold! But the truth was ..she was hurt .
It was the night of the Ball, Shravan wrote in his message that he will be waiting for her ,if she shows up that meant she forgave him... Shravan told himself if she doesn't show up then he will let things the way they were... Unresolved.
He was looking very dashing in his black tux waiting for Suman . He watched as everyone went inside the school hall with their date
Suman was in the library typing away her final term paper for English class on the computer .She was teamed up with Bunty . They were working on it all day and were almost finished. Her Mamaji was going to pick her up as soon she was done.
"Bunty! Are you almost done?"
"Almost ,"
Suman smiled relieved, she then heard commotion outside and looked out the window seeing the students dressed nicely laughing taking pictures ,the girls fixing their hair and makeup . It was the year Ball she completely forgot !
"Ok done!" Bunty printed there papers and stapled them
"Bunty today's the Ball night "
"I know no one invited me "he said sadly
Suman looked on she was also feelings bad that no one asked her but wasn't going to let this damper her !
" Hey ! I didn't get any invite either, let's have our own night at my place . I'll make your favourite caramel pop corn and watch wizard of The Oz"
This brought a smile on her friend's face "Sounds like a plan !"Bunty said fixing his glasses.
Suman was walking out and bumped into Pushkar .
"Pushkar ! Wow you look so cool!" she said excitedly seeing his black shades
"Thank you Sumo I'm set to party all night!!! Wait aren't you coming? "
"No I have to go home, can't stay out too long . But you have fun !" Suman said before seeing Shravan standing afar looking at his watch. He looked so handsome, but he appeared anxious and nervous.
She was about to approach him but then she saw Urvashi giving him a hug from the back. Shravan smiled and his eyes beamed!
Suman stopped her feet and tuned around feeling her heart pierce painfully .She walked with Bunty the other way .
"Sumo I think you should go and speak to him Bunty encouraged "You wanted to apologize and amend your friendship with him for the past 2 weeks!"
"I know but after he invited Urvashi to The Ball I don't think he cares about me anymore. And I gave him a reason not to"
"Well I think he has feelings for you! "Bunty affirmed
Suman was stunned to hear this and shook her head "if that was the case he would have invited me not Urvashi to the Ball she stated upset.
Bunty Shrugged following her .
Shravan turned around and saw Urvashi ! He was expecting Suman ! "What the hell Urvashi ! I thought you were someone else "
"Oh come on Shravan I know you were waiting for me .."
"No I wasn't ! I told you it's over between us , we can never get back together, it's never going to happen!" He stated firmly
"Well then keep waiting for your date I'm sure she Won't ever come !"
Shravan watched her go inside with another guy , he was the only one standing . Suman never showed up , he looked down sadly .Maybe she was still upset or maybe ... She didn't like him the same way he did . He pursed his lips hopeless to resolve his relation with her. He took this as his last attempt and walked away ...hurt.
2 weeks later he left to London , his application got accepted in Oxford. He didn't tell anyone about his plans except for his parents .Ramnath encouraged the idea of him studying abroad and gave full support ! Suman was gone to a family Vacation to Vridavaan to visit her relatives. .When Suman found out she was very sad ,she didn't think he would be that angry not to even write her a message or a letter! She cried a couple of times feeling hurt! Was there fight so bad that he didn't even want to say one last Goodbye to her!
Suman Tiwari startled back to the present and swallowed sadly yet a gleam sparked in her eyes. She was finally going to see him after 8 years! She could feel her heart pasting nervously.
She came out her thoughts hearing Dabbu "Suman didi meri superman t-shirt Kahan hai ?" he asked .Suman smiled shaking her head helping her little cousin who was little chubby with round cheeks, which she loved to pull
"Tumhare t-shirt ke niche" She ruffled his hair ,Daboo's eyes was always surprised that his elder cousin, growing up he thought she had magic powers. She always knew where everything was !
Shravan was in his room taking a deep sigh ,its been 8 years and he was sure a lot had change .The argument and issue they had was during their teenage age and most people move on from their past issues .He hoped it was the same with her .He didn't hold any anger or grudge against her . They were both immature teenagers, getting into an argument!
HE was aware of the fact that in their teenage age there were many mood swings and silly fights! One fight in particular that they took seriously. Shravan thought maybe at that time when he invited her to the Ball she didn't have feelings for him and was still upset but now he hoped things would change .All he wanted now is to just have a good time at the dinner and wanting to see his friend again who he missed so much!

He then saw a woman walking out the kitchen holding a tray of juice and distributing them around .Her smile was beautiful and she laughed when Lalaji cracked a joke to her . She carried herself with grace and confidence .He knew she was Sumo! Pushkar nudged Shravan
"There's Sumo" he teased ,he knew while growing up that these two definitely were becoming more then just friends but unfortunately things spiralled down .But he was hopefully that things will definitely get better!
"I figured Shravan had a boyish smile lingering on his lips
He found the dusty pink Anarkali fitting her slim body frame perfectly, with her long dark brown hair straightened over her shoulder .She was wearing minimal makeup yet her skin was glowing.
Shravan and Suman's eyes finally met and they gazed on . Suman could feel tingling in her body as she took each step closer to him . He was always handsome but now he looked like a professional model! His body looked more fit and built and definitely became taller! .His jaws became sharp and grew a full stubble. She sensed his intense yet expressive eyes gaze on her making her feel self conscious and nervous.
She just prayed that he won't look away angrily or ignore her!It would break her hopes! She didn't hold anything from the past against him, she missed her friend and was so excited to see him!
