This poem is addressed to love.

Dear Love

A million times a minute, my mind,

Reasons that you're one of a kind.

Talks and tribulations in joy laced,

My being in gloom, tissues lie creased.

I call you back every moment without fail,

Storms come and go, my faith stays regaled.

In empty gatherings and tarnished silences, I look,

In starlit skies and wry rose buds in books.

On the bottom of the locket the old man's wife wore,

Or under the sheets that fretting time froze?

I plead for your roar beneath a volcano's core,

To clear all of my life's cranky haze.

Dear love, I demand the world to be replenished with you,

For it to feel the miracles of skies blue,

With selflessness revived and trust to have thrived,

Make it a place where I could survive.
