Agreed! I was so annoyed with that scene because he showed no real concern for her. His response was as if he had been informed that a fight broke out between two inmates at the jail and being a police officer he has to carry out his duty and sort it out. As if he was informed about some random inmate he has nothing to do with was injured and not his wife who he loves so much. The writers and director are to blame for this. They showed a disconnect between DD informing neil about avni being attacked and injured in jail and his response. There was no emotional response to the news of her attack, just a formal and emotionless order given to DD in return. 🤢

Yeah it felt a bit strange! Funny how they showed him thinking of Avni when she was actually getting injured and he got all stressed out! Then in the scene when DD informs him it's like OK!

Anyways I am sure the scene was to be blamed! No continuity there!

I might sound repetitive but have been telling in all my posts that I don't feel Neil's emotions anymore I feel the whole scene was bit off Neela was fine but Neil was really weird poor editing and when he thought about avni is hurt that came out of no where and suddenly they jumped to next scene

When Neela was trying to stop Neil from meeting Avni was funny
Arre banda itne force bhi nahi kar raha hai jane ke liye and Neela was over reacting to stop him

I can tell that this mess-up was because of some bits being edited out. I especially felt it between DD informing neil and neela about the attack on avni and neil's response to DD. I felt like something had been edited out between jahaan's dialogue and neil's, which is why we felt like neil's response was abrupt and cold.

Yes the direction and editing were not good. When Avni banged her head on the wall the very next moment Neil should have felt something but they a showed a gap before showing it. Then he completely forgot about the incident on meeting Vidyut where he should have been shown worried recalling the incident. I already said before that Avneil need not share the same frame now but cvs need to show a connection between them otherwise audience will lose interest.Adventures are fine but they can't compromise with AvNeil's emotions for each other

I agree, Last few episodes I couldn't connect with Neil and Neelama.
Today finally Insaw some emotion on Neelama but I couldn't connect with Neil.

On the other hand I can feel the anger and disappointment with Neil that Avni is feeling.

The writers or the directors have goofed up.

With us missing AvNeil scenes, we are not even getting the angst that Neil is good at portraying.

In the scenes where a hero should show emotions towards his heroine, direction and acting should be on spot to have the right impact on viewers, and in this track specifically where we have separation, they need to give importance to the level of intensity, I have no doubt that Zain can portray these scenes very well, we have seen many of his emotional scenes and he was good, never seen another actor on tv cry as beautifully as him so it's a skill that he has but he might not show it all the time and here the director should make him pay attention to that, actually actors follow directors' instructions so maybe the director didn't insist on that though even the actor has an idea of how a scene should be portrayed, and yes if editing is bad and they don't show the right shot at the right moment that also can contribute to reduce the intensity of a scene.

They should understand that a lot of importance should be given to leads' emotions towards each other and especially their expressions and reactions, I know they show emotions and dialogues but at times when they are in a hurry to show the planning and the plotting they might not focus on that, it might also be because they are shooting very closely to the telecast time but for me as a viewer I prefer quality over quantity always, I'd prefer few emotional scenes at length with good portrayal than many events where not all emotions are given enough time, and I reiterate it's very important especially in such tracks, there should never be any compromise when they show what Neil feels for Avni or what Avni feels for Neil, rest we can overlook but with leads no!

And I reiterate Zain is more than capable of portraying such scenes in a beautiful way, remember the scene where he thought Avni was injured when Avni thought she hit Ali with her car and another small scene yet beautiful that shows Neil's concern for Avni was when DVM pushed her and he saved her her head from hitting the table, then his expressions were so beautiful, the fear the concern even for small injury, the way he was checking whether she is ok and many other scenes where he showed his care and fear for his lady, but we want that to be shown all the time, we ask just for the right amount of intensity according to the situation, here she was attacked and DD didn't specify whether it was a serious attack or whether she is fine and had just small injury so when u don't know u are more worried and you want to know whether ur loved one is ok, and in such a situation where he spent so many months away from her and where guilt is killing him, and where he misses her so much and feels for her, his emotions should normally be heightened and highlighted.

Absolutely agree. I felt while watching it that Neil's reactions were edited. These scenes are important especially since we are not getting any Avneil. And as a viewer we will lose connect if they are not written, directed and edited well. Right now I think with chuhis exit there is no one in the cast whose acting is not upto the mark. They are all fab especially Aditi and zain It's the second instance this week where they have screwed up a scene with great potential. The tile breaking was also ruined. Poor Zain has obviously worked so hard on it, hurt himself doing it, but it lacked impact thanks to bad screenplay. Let's hope they use the feedback and give us better scenes tomm and next week.
