Understanding Diya in depth

hello Guys.. after ydays episode i have seen many fans disappointed with Diya for being cold with Abhay.. and so i feel i should share my theory on why she did that , if atleast one person could undertand my pov then i will be happy😆

Firstly i want to clarify that Diya is not choosing Ratan over Abhay.. thats nonsense.. she is choosing the promise she made over her personal life and happiness..She is a Kshtrani .. entire show is about how she fulfill her promise and how a new relationship is made out of this promise.. its not about her love story..

Next Why she is acting cold with Abhay??? why shouldnt she? if she gets softer on him, it implies that she yet has a soft corner for him and it gives false hope to Abhay which she doesnt want.. she wants abhay to move on be it by hating her or not.. she cant risk her palatvaar by being soft on her ex fiancee just to make him feel better cz lke he waited 12 yrs , she also did it and she is near to her target.. so its her priority always and she made it clear too..

another one why she insulted Abhay infront of family?? did anyone see diya enjoyng doing all that? she is hurting herself too.. she is human and has a beating heart.. she is aware that someone from family brought abhay back out of nowhere and their intention obviously is to break the engagement.. so she cant show that she is affected by his presence, infact she is supposed to act indifferent and show that she is happy about moving on and getting engaged to Ratan.. cost is insulting Abhay but she is yet again doing all for her promise.. she hurt her parents, sister and evryone for the same.. so why not Abhay?!

and on a final note i still dont trust ABhay and his intentions.. so i ddn feel bad for him too.. unless am sure he genuinely loves diya and waited fr her i wont feel bad too.. i am not getting good vibes from him.. his beahaviour is weird.. even yday he held her injury like that.. it was not love but sme sort of obsession.. his engagement with diya was arranged one.. so i think diya havent even spent much time with ABhay like she has spent with Ratan in past 10 days.. Ratan is a 21yr old rich brat who grown up abroad without any parental superviison.. he is childish but he respects DIya.. cares for her.. but am not feeling that from Abhay.. he is just claiming his rights and putting her in a difficut situation by coming unannounced and asking for marriage.. so am TEAM DIYA.. and yea if she had chosen ratan over abhay i wudve said she did wrong but here its not about Ratan but her promise and i respect her for staying strong cz it needs guts to give up own dreams for someones safety.. Abhay waited 12 yrs for his selfish reason.. he wanted diya.. but diya literally sacrificed 12 years for a selfless reason.. she stayed away from famiy and friends and tolerated all taunts for Ratans safety and just because her ex fiancee waited too she cant risk her 12 years of hardwork.. i feel Diya acting cold is jusified in my POV..

PS- this is purely my opinion based on what i understood about Diya from the show.. all are free to express their opinion..😊

Well said.

Abhay is bordering on Obsession but he is still can be given benefit of doubt.

He rushed to give a chance to his love when he heard about the girl he waited for so long getting engaged to someone she has protected for so long and that too when his wait was about to be over.

Everyone knew the promise asked was till Ratan turns 21 and she is free after she hands over everything to him.

But diya gave a promise to protect Ratan for as long he is unsafe.

Its quit rare to see some being so selfless for so long. Abhay doesn't know that Ratan and diya are acting or its their way of decoding the threat within their own periphery

So presently I shall not blame Diya and Abhay both for their acts. He is a man in love who waited for his fiancee for 12 years as he knew that she has taken something on her for a promise asked from somone who saved her life once.

Diya not going soft is right as if she fizzles now she will never find out the threat to Ratan and all her hard work for 12 years will go in vain.

Lets give a chance to all of them. I feel yesterday's segment of Ratan throwing DIya out is actually his sacrifice mode. He is freeing up Diya to live her life and not sacrifice her happiness with Abhay due to him

I don't see Ratan coming in any one's saying. He is definitely convinced that Abhay and Diya love each other. So he has found a way out of Being the villain and Behaving such.

He doesn't want Diya to choose him anymore and making her feel she is not wanted anymore.

On the day of engagement all this mess will happen. But Diya will not leave Ratan security even after he throws her out

I agree with all of your points. And I feel that this is the beauty of all the characterisations. Everyone is right in their place and the fact that the viewers can feel for each of them and feel conflicted on whom to support, is a testament to a good love triangle and characterisations. There are some things we appreciate and dislike about each character and that's fine- it means that the characters are multidimensional! 😊

I don't want Diya to be judged anymore. She has to take a stand after the mess of Ratan throwing her out.

She has to clearly Tell Abhay that they are not happening at all. and To Ratan that he did succeed in his challenge of hurting her so from now on u are a security object only for her.

Nothing else. I don't like girls who are very forgiving in Indian shows. They have to take a stand for their self respect and not forgive anyone easily for the thankless things they do. But unfortunately Indian shows work on Woman being Mahaan and all

For a change I want Diya to stand out and make a change. She shouldn't forgive Ratan easily.

The way she is shown broken its heartbreaking. But I want her to strike back and this time Let Ratan do as much torture as he wants. As I am sure now that the property is in Diya's name he can't ask her to go and in what Context they gonna make diya stay there is what's interesting to look forward

Also today's IV where Ratan has Managed to marry her in the room with Taking Phera's around the diya and Woh mang bharna with Ink. I guess Marriage track is coming up. May be Diya will use Ratan again by telling everyone that they are already married to keep near him and safeguard him

Lets see. I don't want rona dhona for long but it seems this is gonna happen for ages
