The 'Quirky' Bahu!

Anika is perhaps the most quirky character i have seen on Indian Tv! She is written in the mold of trp audience female lead&yet very different in her own way😆 i dont know if it was done on purpose but today's scenes of anika were not only funny but soo troll worthy too i mean in a good way. In most shows when things like this happen rich guy having to move out the girls are usually made to step up but yahaan it was handled in such a funny adorable manner😆 starting from anika's "gonna wake up super soon" to burning that sabzi haha the nuance or the basic character sketch of her is never lost and i am so grateful for that! She is supportive his brightest sunshine but in her own way not the stereotypical way. She is a survivor not a perfectionist or the ideal person/bahu and that balance is maintained well. My most favorite bit was her measuring how much sabzi she cut such a anika thing to do😆 and after buring it quickly just ordering shivaay to get more sabzi😛 Her security and comfort in the marriage is so nicely shown its very rare so confidently she was ki "agar yeh sab nai bhi kiya kaunsa aap kuch bolne waale hai".

Love your post and love annika the most in today's epi ..One of the reason I started watching IB is because of annika sirf annika😆 the imperfectly perfect girl biwi & bahu 😆 she is too cute adorable sassy & unique!! & full credit goes to SC for playing annika in such an effortless manner...

Much I as love and adore Anika, I found her portrayal in today's episode way OTT. If this was a comedy commercial break - then it was in bad taste. Given their present circumstances and also the conditions that Anika has faced, I would not expect her to be this hair-brained. If she is given the title of GL it need not mean good housekeeping darling. She could have stepped out with SSO and rubbed shoulders with him and assist him getting their project take off that to me would have been Nayee Soch. Missed opportunity.

And could not digest the invisible intruder roaming around their house and that too on the same floor and neither becoming cognizant about it. I am sure Anika's ante will be more sensitive and despite her warnings, Shivay will put it down to her imagination.
