Hello friends back with new update .
Part 18
Ishita entered the house and went to her room ,smiling fully recalling their moments . She then changed and was about to sleep when she heard someone's cry ,she got up from the bed and went to the direction and saw ruhi crying standing in the hall . Actually as per her habit ruhi got up in mid night and was searching Raman's room ,she was not finding it that's why she started crying . Ishita brought ruhi with her and both slept together cuddling into each other . Next morning ishita got up bit late due to the happenings of night , amma scolded her for getting up and late and told her to freshen up and get ready as she has kept some puja for the new couple .
Ishita did same ,she completed her morning chores ,took bath and get ready . Amma gave her a dark mehroon kanjiwaram saree to wear ,she also gave her gajra to put in her hairs . Soon ishita got ready ,ruhi too got ready wearing a green dawani ,both mother and daughter ,half clutched their hairs in clip and put the white flower strings in them.Ishita was looking perfectly like a new wed south Indian girl while ruhi was looking like her replica . They started waiting eagerly for Raman . After about half an hour ,bhalla family arrived to attend the puja and then take ishru along with them .
There was still some time left for the puja as panditji has not yet come , bhallas were talking randomly waiting for ishru when Mr iyer showed up with many gift wrapped boxes and a very big suitcase ,Raman saw this and asked " what is this uncle ."
Mr iyer passed a bunch of boxes to him and spoke " these are you marriage gifts which we couldn't give you as it happened in jiffy ."
R(returning it back to him )- no uncle , I can't take all these things . you had already given so much to ishita ,even that wasn't also needed ,but she is your daughter ,so I can't deny for those things but I can't take these all .(looking to his parents ) ma papa kuch bolo na .
Mr bhalla - actually he is right we don't need anything like this. Ishita is the biggest gift and you had already given her to us .
Appa- but bhalla ji we are not doing anything extra ,these are the things we had already bought for ishita's marriage .
R- then also uncle ,these are too much, I can't take these .I already got what I want ,ishita is now my wife and you people have happily accepted our marriage, that's more than enough for me .please don't bring these materialistic things between us.
Appa got overwhelmed listening to this, he blessed Raman and spoke giving a gold chain to him " Raman kanna ,we must had done something very good in our past life that's why we got you as our son in law , ok not everything but atleast take this as a little gift from us ."
Raman looked towards his parents, they nodded .Getting their permission, he took the chain and touched Mr iyers feet while Mr iyer pulled him for hug. This scene was witnessed by ishita who was coming out to see ,weather Raman has come or not ,her love for him increased bit more witnessing the scene.
She got overwhelmed and happy for getting Raman as her husband . After that she too came outside and touched her in-laws feet ,they blessed her happily ,that's when ruhi came out and asked flaunted herself " dadi ,papa ,dadi see how I m looking ."
Toshiji saw her and asked " arey who is this madrasan girl ,we are not recognizing her .who are you ".
Ruhi got surprised and said " arey dadi its me your ruhi ."
Mr bhalla - arey haan Toshiji ,she is out ruhi.
R(hugging her )- haan ma its our princess ruhi chuhi.
T- haan bhallaji ,haye kinni soni lag rahi hair meri bachchi. ( looking too beautiful).
Saying so she too hugged Ruhi tight ,all were talking happily when panditji arrived . Soon the puja started ,as the puja was kept for ishra they sat with panditji and performed puja . The puja ended well ,Panditji blessed ishra happily and bless ishita to be mother soon giving her an apple from prasadam . She opened her hands for taking the apple but withdrew the moment when panditji blessed for baby. Raman saw this ,he held her hand and tried to forward it towards Panditji ,she saw him with moist eyes and spoke " in sabse kuch faayda nahi hone wala "
(this won't work ).
R- that doesn't matter ishita ,we shouldn't deny or insult any blessing as we don't know which blessing with be fruitful . Tum prasad ko mama mat karo ,baaki matarani ki marzi .(you don't deny for prasad ,rest is matarani's will).
Ishita nodded and took the apple ,then ishra together took blessing of panditji ,he happily blessed them and told ishita " kanna your husband has said very true thing which everybody don't understand ,he must be a very nice person ."
Ishita smiled while panditji went happily from there . Soon Ishita's vidaai was done and bhalla's went back to their house . it was afternoon and all were tired so all retired to their room to take a small afternoon nap . In the evening ishita was doing preparations for making dinner when Raman called her . She went to hall and saw him talking to some person .She went near him and he spoke " ishita he is interior designer, I had called him to change decor of our room .You tell him about your choices he will do the changes likewise . ".
I- that was not needed Raman ,its perfect .
R- it was needed ,as I don't live here ,it has old decor according to someone else buy now I want everything as per your choice . you tell him the color of wall and curtain ,then one day we will go for shopping from there we will pick furniture, showpieces ,paintings etc . ok.
I- as you say .
R- come sit and tell him about your choices .
Ishita settled beside him and started telling the decorator about her likes .He note down everything and went ,saying he will start his work from next day .
Later in night Raman was in call while ishita was telling bed time story to ruhi ,she happily was listening to stories and was playing with Ishita's hairs . Soon the story ended and ruhi was sleepy ,ishita started patting Ruhi ,soon ruhi was slept . But ishita was still patting her thinking lost in her thoughts. Raman was done with his call and was noticing ishita ,he came and sat beside her ,she was still lost . He kept his hand on her breaking her trance ,she turned to him and saw him with questioning eyes .
R- are you thinking something .
I- na ,just like that .
R- phir bhi .
I- just was thinking about the turn of my life .
R- did it took a beautiful or ugly turn .
I- of course beautiful , I got you and ruhi what more I want .
R- but you don't love me yet .
I- I didn't dislike you either .
R- matlab you like me .
I- aap hain hi itne achche , you can make anyone fall for you .
R- no Ishita I m not . aisa bilkul bhi nahi hai ,people do hate me ,actually there are many people who hate me as I was too rude and arrogant earlier ,never talked to any one lovingly , its your effect that I had changed . Thank you for coming into my life .
I- actually not you but I should tell that , you brought light into my life and made my life worth living.
Ishita saw the time and spoke " Raman its late we should sleep now ".
R- ruko let me take ruhi to her room .
I- not needed ,let her sleep here only , waise bhi she will come to us in night then what's the need .
R- Ishita you actually don't know what's the need or trying to avoid me .
I- why would I avoid you .
R- pakka you are happy with me na .
Ishita shifted a bit , made space for him and signalled him to settle beside her .He did same, while ishita looked st him and asked " Raman why are you time and again asking me if I m happy or not ".
Raman became sad and serious ,he took her hand in his and spoke " ishita I had already gone through a heart break and now don't have courage to go through another one . you know ishita , shagun was also my choice ,I choosed her by seeing her beauty ,she was also happy with the marriage . we were happy together ,but slowly everything changed . I tried to give much love to her and tried to fulfill all her wishes but couldn't and finally she left me. And in your case you don't even love me ,I m just trying to make you happy because that time I was alone but this time ruhi is also with me ."
I- you think that I will go leaving you two like shagun .are you comparing me with you.
R- no I m not ,as you are very much good than her but I had a very bitter experience of married life ,that's why I m scared .ishita last time I had survived but this time may be I won't . Shagun ko Maine pasand kiya tha but I love you and can't see going away from me . Tum mujhe aur ruhi ko chod kar nahi jaaogi na .bolo Ishita you will not leave us na .
Both pair if eyes turned moist ,she shook her head negatively and spoke " no I will not ,actually I can't because I know ,I can see your love for me and can't break your heart .
,Raman smiled between his tears and hugged ishita tight. She too hugged him back and spoke kissing his temple " I will never leave you too because my happiness lies with you . Now sleep ,its getting late ."
R- I will not sleep on either side but beside you .
Ishita turned to him and saw him amusingly and spoke " Raman ruhi is small ,what if she fell from bed ."
He shook his head negatively and spoke " no she will not ,I will hold her protectively but I will sleep beside you ".
Ishita smiled seeing him getting adamant like a kid and spoke " achcha baba you sleep here only ."
He smiled fully ,then settled ruhi bit away and both settled beside each other .Raman held ishru protectively and closed his eyes .Soon he was fast asleep but Ishita was wake ,she turned to him and pulled him to her near her heart and spoke " No Raman I will never go leaving you ,don't know if its love or not but I feel too happy being with you ,I love your antics ,I like to talk to you ,I like when you do something special for me ,I like when you touch me . I just like everything about you Raman and will never go leaving you ."
Saying so she hided him in her and closed her eyes ,soon she too drifted to sleep .
