What an emotional mess we are going to witness this week?
Though I always felt more for the character of Naina (owing to my personal experiences) but at present, I am fearing for the emotional mess that is going to happen in this week in YUDKBH.
Naina will be heartbroken but Sameer is DOOMED!
After the bet revelation - Sameer practically has no emotional bond left in his life.
(other than Nanu, who will be angry as well as sad seeing Sameer's situation. But he hardly can do anything other than consoling Sameer. Nanu can nither make Sameer's mother understand her fault, nor he can make Naina understand the complexities of Sameer's situation which lead this situation).
The bet Sameer made in Anger is now going to play a role in removing all the emotional connect is his life. Here is how:
Naina will remove Sameer out of her life. Of course, she will go through terrible pain. On top of that the Meghaben incident (I feel the show might show her committing or trying suicide). Sameer's bet truth and Meghaben's situation will make Naina headstrong and full of suspicion/anger for Sameer. There seems no way she will let her guard down and even try to think the situation of Sameer.
Sameer after being disowned by her own mother (She even went to the extent of not recognizing him in front of his stepfather) in Mount Abu, will feel like an orphan. No bigger pain than seeing his mother not even agreeing with his very existence.
Amidst all these emotional neglect and pain from his own mother, he received the best love, care, and understanding from the very girl whom he wanted to insult.
During the whole Mount Abu trip, Naina showered so much attention, care, interaction and sacrifices for Sameer that he was burdened with guilt. This guilt ate him from inside. Another emotion he is struggling with. He also somewhere inside him started getting dependant on Naina for the emotional feel.
Readers will recall this dialogue "Mujhe Aadat Nahin ki Koi Meri Itni Chinta Kare" and Naina replying "Aadat dal lo"
Though Sameer shows denial, all these affections by Naina have made him entirely dependant on her to get the emotional love he craves. The sweater was the final nail on his denying heart. He fell in love when he never expected to.
After his own Mom's neglect and insult, when he finally realizes the worth of Naina's love - the bet revelation happens. Sameer lost Naina's love when he required it the most.
Not recognized by Mom + Ditched by Naina (indifference from her will hurt more than his mom ignoring him) ----- Sameer is Doomed.
(To add to it, Naina's anger + mistrust on Sameer + her hyperactive family + Megaben scenario effect)
The writers of the show have made the situation extremely complicated. Even most of the viewers would be finding the situation too complicated for any Teenager (Sameer or Naina)
In all practical sense, I have no guess how the story will sort this incredibly complex situation for Sameer.
For now, it seems Sameer is Doomed!
and there seems no way to get back!
