Chapter 2
A man in his mid 20s entered the office.
"Good morning sir, how are you? one of the employee asked.
"I am good, but I will be better if you give me a cup of coffee in my cabin in five minute. The Man told the emplo0yee.
He entered the cabin of co head of the company.
"It will be better if you knock the door next time Joseph. The man who was sitting inside in the co head told Joseph who just recently entered into the cabin.
" Oh!Prem why you are serious all the time. I come here to inform you the models for our winter's international collection will be selected tomorrow and Tarun was creating problem in my line of work. Joseph complained to Prem.
"How? Prem asked him.
"Prem, we decided that to expand our fashion business we need to have diversity in selected model and their outfit. You give me the authority on selecting models for international collection. However, it seems like Tarun have a problem with that and he is constantly arguing with me. Joseph informed him.
Prem pressed the button.
"Sir kutch chayie aapko? An employee asked Prem.
"Shilpa, Mr. Tarun Saxsena ke cabin mein jake kaho maine unko yaad kiya. Prem told Shilpa.
"Sir, Tarun sir aapne cabin mein nahi hain , wo Preet sir ke cabin mein hein. Shilpa informed Prem.
"Thick hein, aisi baat hein to tum aab jao. Prem told the employee.
" Joseph, I will directly talk with Tarun to hear his version of event, in the mean time you should go ahead with your model selection. Have a good day. Prem told Joseph.
After Joseph left his cabin Prem went directly to Preet's cabin and he could hear shouting outside from the cabin.
"Nahin Preet ye mein nahi manoonga, uss firngi gora ko koi haq nahin hain mere itne saal ke mehanat mein paani dale. Joseph ek accha fashion model photographer hein jisko wos countries ke consumer ka taste ka parakh hein aur who samaj ta hein kis tara model uss countries liye suit karega aur tumhe ye bhi yaad hone chayiye ki wo hamare European partners ke representative hein aur ek aur baat Tarun dobara phir se Joseph ke skin colour ko leke koi gaali nahi donge. Prem bhaiya aur mein iss tara se racist comment sahen nahi karenge. Preet told Tarun in a stern voice.
"Mein tumse pura sahemat ho Preet a person should be judged by his/her content of character not by his/her skin colour. Aur Tarun tumhe mein aur ek responsibilities dena chahata hu. Prem told Tarun.
Suddenly Tarun got excited after hearing that.
"Kya responsibilities hein? Tarun asked Prem.
"Tum mere aur Preet ke liye private secterary choose karoge. Tum to jantei ho mujhe tumhare kabiliat mein kitna biswas hein. Prem remarked.
"Ha Prem mein janta hu tum mujh par kitna yakeen karte ho. Tarun told prem in a excited voice.
After Tarun left the cabin both brothers broke into laughter.
"Bhaiya aap bhi na , Tarun ka majak unke samne udata hein aur samaj bhi nahi pate. Lekin bhaiya aap usko hamare PS choone ka responsibilities kyuin diya? Preet asked Prem.
"Dekho meine Maya ko pahelei khe diya tha top 5 candidate dhondne ke liye. To Tarun wos top 5 se do ko chonega , aur mujhe lagta hain Tarun iss responsibilities khubi se nibhane ki koshish karenge hum dono ko impress karne ke liye. To hume lagta hain jo hamare PS honge wo acchiye honge.
Iss tara se hum Tarun ka attention divert kar sakenge aur wo Joseph ko aur disturb nahi karega. Prem told Preet.
"Ye sab to choriye bhaiya ye battaiyen aap ka sham ka plan kiya hain? Preet asked.
"Kutch khas nahi, kya tumhara koi plan hain? Prem asked Preet.
"Bhaiya hum soach rahe hein kyuin na hum Prashant uncle ke dukan mein jaae. Aur woske baat uh ape ek accha caf hein jisme hum bait sakte hein. Preet proposed.
"Ha Preet idea to acche hein bahut din ho choki hein hum unki dokan pe gayie hein. Aur caf shop mein bait ke do char baat bhi kalenge aur uske baat uss locality bhi ghum ke dekhenge. Prem told Preet.
On the other side of Hyderabad in a coffee shop Heer was feeling irritated as she again scolded by the grumpy owner of the coffee shop for being late. The majority of the customers here were good people but there also some bad apples who were throwing indecent comments towards her indirectly and many of them were looking at her chest area when giving her orders.
Heer felt disgusted by their behavior. She would love to punch each of those pervert in their face but she was helpless as she needed the job in that coffee shop to support her family.
However, sometimes she wonders if she could get a job in a company then she would be able to support her family better. She felt little disappointed about her brother's situation. He was a bright student the whole family expected so much more from him. But, it seemed like there was no hope for Nihal in the future.
She called at the home to know whether her brother returned to the home after his night long absence.
"Meher, Nihal bhaiya ghar laute kiya? Heer asked.
" Nahi di, mujhe bhi aab unka chinta hone laggi hein. Di jab Nihal bhaiya lautega tab mein aapko phone karke batayenge. Meher informed her.
After calling her sister Heer again joined into her work after one hour her phone rang. She thought may be her brother returned to home.
"Meher bhaiya ghar laute kiya. Heer asked Meher.
"Di aab turan ghar aayiye main sab kutch phone pe bata nahi sakti hu. Bas ye kahe sakti hu ki Nihal bhaiya bari mushkil mein fass gaya aur iss se unke jaan ko khatra bhi ho sakta hain. Meher told Heer in a panicked voice.
Heer felt numbed for a moment after hearing that from her sister. Despite her anger, disappointment towards her elder brother. She still loved her brother very much. She could not let her brother to die and she would do anything to prevent that. Heer rushed to her home to know the details.
