EDT~ ep 39,14.12.17,My stance. Black hole.
Suggestive of some prison cell or a place of confinement. A place where things , people end up irretrievably lost.Today's episode features on all three leads, Sharanya, Vyom and Shiv. Lost within limitations of time, sentiments, rationale. There lies a discrepancy between what is seen? and what is reality? My mind, along with Sharanya for one, suffers from a black hole too. Reality of events is quite lost. Vyom again attempts to walk the plank? He clearly seems to going over the edge. Is his own mind mislaid? has it been found and is being put to use by a troubled roving spirit? What's ever has gotten over Vyom? Is his to and fro precarious walk real? or is it all an act to cover up his conduct unbecoming with Sharanya? Following are my thoughts after watching today's episode.
The decision to marry Vyom hangs in midair ..she is still confused if she should go ahead with it ? seeing him walk on the edge of the roof is his second attempt of taking his life? being the good person she is ,Sharanya decides to grant him forgiveness for attempting to stain her honour. To me, Sharanya assumes, his guilt and shame, possibly drives him to walk the edge.. For her, like any other in her situation, the priority is to coerce,divert, talk the person out of attempting suicide . Her priority is to avert his act of playing with his life. panic stricken she assures him ,all is forgotten, that if he loves her? he'll grab her hand and come down..
He comes down only to lift her and drop her through a black hole!.. an area in space with a strong gravitational pull that no matter and energy can escape from. Is the domestic water tank a black hole where Sharanya is unexpectedly dropped in ,never to be seen again? never to escape from? What is she letting herself into?
If yesterday's episode's focal point was to locate the whereabouts of the groom in waiting, namely Vyom.Today's episode is frantic search for the bride herself ,who goes missing rather strangely and abruptly. The in laws, read ill meanings into it . However some of the finest scenes were prompted by the glaring moment when Sharanya's impulsive disappearance diverges with Vyom's sudden trance like return! The dramatic irony was well presented by cv's. Where Sharanya lies trapped in the water tank, Vyom mills in with the families, mentally whitewashed as to the turn of events. Where he accounts for his absence for the night before. Yet, Vyom is rather smoothly taken off the radar, and where is Sharanya? is put on the scanner.
Lost to all, she is, but found by her frequent spiritual visitor here in the water tank.Invisible to all like him, but visible to him courtesy of his senses . She senses him. An Utterly desolate feeling she holds within herself, that Vyom dumped her here to die? for me, the isolation somewhat alleviates. She is not alone, some being is around her.. she gathers herself when she senses the being gets closer! This is unreal! What is real? is Sharanya's horror! Her natural fear of losing air supply!having a watery death! Does the being.. keep her afloat? She was left to sink.. but somehow she maintains buoyancy!! It's with a mad sense of survival! she beats her hand mercilessly to draw attention! Her blood is real! not unreal!
What is real too, is when Vyom shakes off too much attention upon himself , by having a public go at his mother! accusing her of not being fond of Sharanya and disregarding her sons' choice and happiness Sharanya! Vyom for obvious reasons wants to search for Sharanya actively!
The search for Sharanya is thrilling.. human melodrama of hyped up relatives is stumped by, man/woman's best friend the gentle canine Nawab!his animal instincts. Sense of smell leads him to his mistress! He does what he does best, heed and fetch! Canine intelligence prompts him to turn on the kitchen tap that gushes out water turned to blood! Vyom strangely picks up the clue. Sharanya is in the water tank!! One interesting thing that Nawab does is omit tugging at Vyom.. the dog only alerts sharanya's parents! may be as she instructed Nawab ..or he senses foul play from Vyom, this time?
Even Odhni gets a premonition before anyone else that Sharanya is in deep waters! and she cuts short her drive with D'Mello to approaching Kapli hills! Both her and Nawab's extra sensory powers save Sharanya from impending doom.
Actions reverse ! What irony! It's actually Vyom who uncovers the manhole and offers his hand to Sharanya and pulls her out of the bloody red waters of the tank. Sharanya's first reaction , to cling to him is spontaneous! His total unawareness of how she ends up in the tank? baffles and causes her much anxiety , as the night before scenario too flashes before her eyes. There is panic in her eyes..she continues to have reservations about his out of the ordinary behaviour. Yet she dares not to think that some disgruntled spirit has taken control of him? I wonder why? Is it because she fears, that people wiil reject her fears as utter nonsense!
Loved how this endearing scene brings about sibling love.Sharanya's brother Aditiya puts a protective mantle over his sister.. as her brother , till her wedding day ,he continues to protect her honour..
Time is short they have to get a move on!but he is blank about her urgency.. she feels being drawn into a black hole! either she's losing herself or Vyom.. Shiv watches as an outsider.. and recites in verse.. "If you remember me, I'll be relieved. "If you don't hold my hand I'll be shattered. "I have loved you from the bottom of my heart. No matter how much you ignore me, you'll still find me.. hamlet53 15.12.17
Overall a thrilling and dramatic episode the water tank scene was effectively presented . Being a dog lover,Nawab is seen as such a SOS.. life guard. Odhni yet again fascinates with her powers.Going by the precap, it seems to me Sharanya wanted Vyom to accompany her to the temple. Before both the families and Sadhvi, Vyom hurls Sharanya like a rag doll! away from the temple. Sharanya speaks calm to him.. beckons him to come to her.she is his Sharanya .. but Vyom turns into another being! If all see his transformed state? do they feel cause for some grave concern??
