He may or may not fake it, but I am sure even if not now, he might develop a strong pull towards Avni in the future to come.
About his love for Mamoni, well he has ulterior motives there as well, if not, then he wouldn't have hidden the truth of Mishti from her by saying that she died by drowning in the sea.

N that's I want vidyut role to be shown. Only then a proper villain has the proper end either will be killed by police force or he himself will be committed suicide for not accepting his defeated to neil. I don't want his reform n his truly falls in love then the essence of his role will be destroyed I mean real kaminapanti. Strong villains roles generally isnt shown to change in their life neither can accept their own defeating. I hope he is actually playing a deep game with avneil for separating n neil will definitely give him proper answer with his own antics against vidyut. Till yesterday he was just counting avni's down fall n today he suddenly falls in love with avni.😆 how ridiculous!😆

Gosh VR has badly trapped avneil
Per my view he hasn't fallen for avni. He is just teasing Neil so that he arrests avni n separate them. He knows very well that in dreams also Neil will never share avni to anyone. He knows well that Neil won't let VR to be near to avni

It was a really good episode indeed, I was so relieved seeing Juhi's corpse there's no chance of her coming back. The fact that Vidyut lied to his mom about Mishti could mean either that he has a soft spot for his daughter or he wants to hold Mishti to blackmail Avni. I don't think he's faking the love/obsession part, he truly is smitten by her and also knows Avni would go to any length for Mishti. If he does find her in the river alive, he might keep her to blackmail Avni to come to him maybe.

Finally watched the episode , I don't think Vidyut has fallen from Avni , I think he is still trying to separate AvNeil for his revenge .

Vidyut loves neither Mishti nor Avni. Mishti is like a prized possession for him and Avni an obsession.

All this time he was giving impression to his mamoni that he wants to make Avni's life hell but the truth is he wanted to make Avni part of his life. Yeh Banda toh apni mamoni kaa bhi saga nahin hai😆 now I don't think he wants to get his mamoni released from jail😛

I m pretty sure Vidyut has fallen for Avni.

In precap there was a flashback scene where Avni is threatening Vidyut and Vidyut is admiring her. Look at Vidyut's eyes. His eyes were on her lips, on her feiry eyes. There was a admiration, a wonder in Vidyut's eyes. He is completely smitten by Avni😆

This is what even I believe.
For a guy like Vidyut, love is a darn distant thing.
For a guy who grew up killing innocent birds, murdering his own dad, love cannot happen ever in a matter of these few days.
But obsession? Hell yeah!

He is calling it ishq' but truth is Avni may have truly become his Junoon, because this guy is all about adrenaline rushes and relishing in the feel of it, and Avni gives him exactly that, that too on his face directly being out and out fearless.
She was bound to be his Junoon!
