The shift in the show

But I have to admit , u do like this new track. The slightly demented version of Mandira is much preferable to the Mandira who was just being showcased as Vijay's love interest. It's clear after yesterday's episode that Vijay is keen to protect Bulbul from Mandira or is it just himself he is worried about. Vijays character has undergone a radical change as well. Fro the upright young man , to a politician with principles to a slightly paranoid husband , it is good to see him portrayed in this manner. Every human being has shades and security issues, while his abandoning Mandira cannot be justified, his attempts at protecting Bulbul has to be lauded as well.

All hell will break lose with Anant eventually finding the truth about Vijay and Mandira. And I am looking forward to Anant showing his power then. My guess, it would be Anant and Mandira with their royal backing against Vijay who will be the common people's choice for the ultimate goal. To be the CM of the state.

Special mention to the doomed love story of our Saale Saab Vishaal😆. I am starting to like him and I hope Tejaswini eventually falls how him. Opposites attract and all that

But the political drama is still happening but seems to be taking place in the background now.

Before elections Vijay was a nobody and he was forced to take the support of the Royal family and Anant's support. Anant had to endorse his candidature.

But during that Nehar yojna block Vijay came into his own.Villagers wanted Vijay to solve the problem and they wanted to talk to only Vijay.

Slowly the common man Vijay who had to take support from available sources is becoming powerful on his own.

Coming to the present track involving two couples Vijay has seen what Mandira's behaviour. He realised that Mandira managed to extract the very personal details of their realtionship from Bulbul. That's the reason why he forcibly lifted the veil off from Bulbul's face. He already told his Bhabhi about Mandira's behaviour. He wasn't being paranoid husband he realised that Mandira is using Bulbul to her advantage and wants to put a check on Mandira's plans.

Don't think Vijay's character has undergone a change. He does feel guilty about the way he broke up with Mandira. His marrying Bulbul is not only to save her and her father from committing suicide but also to make way for Anant Mandira relationship.He thought if Mandira realises that he is not free she would turn to Anant but it backfired big way.

Much as I find this track entertaining I am waiting for the game of chess between Vijay and his opponents.

Indeed the story of the show has radically shifted from what it started off with. Earlier the focus was on Vijay's struggle to make his place in politics, now that he has become the Vidhayak the show seems more centred around the making & breaking of relationships.

Earlier when I read in articles that Mandira would be Vijay's political opponent, I used to think that how possibly could it be so because Mandira just doesn't seem cut out for politics. But tbh Mandira turned out to be one shrewd player who can totally give someone like Vijay a run for his money if she makes up her mind about it 😆

Hmm I don't see why Anant would support her though... because she and Vijay both would be equally guilty in his eyes.

Anant and Bulbul are actually the wild cards here because it is yet to be seen if they would ever depict any grey shades in supporting or going against their respective partners.

I don't think Tejaswini would ever fall for CM's saale sahab but I do think at some point she would try to extract the secrets of CM's family from him.
