Kudos On Writing Sameer's Track So Well

This post is for writers of the show. Sameer started as a very one dimensional traditional character. But as of current episode the writers have progressed his character and it's development wonderfully. Wasnt much fond when I heard we are gonna have a good old school bet track. But what ultimately matters is the execution. And the writers did the track wonderfully. Specially on front of Sameer/Naina's relationship and how they got to know each other beyond their surfaces (Thanks to the picnic track which did truckload of improvement in their tangent.) And most importantly on progessing Sameer's feelings and understanding of Naina. He step by step got to know this young woman and is slowly enamored by her. Got someone who surprisingly for him cares a lot about him. And most importantly for giving him this huge dilemma where he doesn't want to work on the bet anymore in his heart. (He has a ego to fulfill and also has to protect his lustrous hair so disheartedly he continues with it.) Guilt trip mode activated. And in all this the guy has fallen in love with this padaku ladki. Without even realising himself. I think that's the best part about his arc is that he never became friends with Naina expecting anything. Not even a proper friendship we can say. But in the end of this he has found his love. Inspite of never looking for it. It makes so much sense for his character. Thanks for such subtle progression in story. It was very well done.

I also wasn't too happy initially with the way Sameer's character was being written, and felt he was one-dimensional. I thought they could have shown more of his inner turmoil and thoughts at that point.

But then again, the story is from Naina's point of view, and maybe they wanted to wait until Sameer realized his feelings for Naina before showing more of his perspective.

Overall I am very satisfied with how everything's been handled until now. A lot of people felt the initial episodes before the bet happened were slow, but I quite enjoyed that whole phase of Naina's one-sided admiration for Sameer and the misunderstandings that happen between the two. The whole bet track was overall well done too, maybe a few episodes in between that were unnecessary/dragging, but no major screw-ups. Great job by the makers! 👏

Yes, initially I was giving Naina judgy looks for even considering Sameer crush-worthy material. He was such a bully and cliche, but I am really liking how his character is shaping out to be. He isn't a spoilt brat, as he first seemed to me, especially with the way he blamed everything on Naina. I just hope he soon stops being a knucklehead and start to realize what she has come to mean to him so this bet business can just...die.

I feel his character is very well written as we all know that the show is from Naina's perspective but the way his character has shaped up is really commendable 👏⭐️
And the actor too is doing a great job😃👏

The show has some inconsistencies with pace. Sometimes is reallyyy slow sometimes its normal. There are at times unnecessary fillers but its manageable overall. The whole bet track was well handled well unlike the Rome Juliet track.
