Chapter 2:

Flashforward:

She was fighting for her life rapidly on the hospital bed. She was unconscious.

Siddarth was standing right outside peeping in, looking at her lifeless body as he clutched on to himself.

He was helpless, he couldn't do anything. He was feeling outrageous for the fact that no one was there for her, except for him and Roshni. Roshni was too weak at this point to see her best friend like this so she went to the hospital restaurant.

Even he couldn't help but cry as the doctors attached a machine onto her and tried to make her gain consciousness.

"Where the hell are you Rahul", he was furious.

Suddenly, her eyes shot open.

Siddarth let out a sigh of relief.

However, he was starting to panic when she started screaming and shouting.

She cried and screamed at the same time. Her voice went weaker and started to fade away slowly.

"Come on come on", Siddarth rooted for her in his mind.

Her hands clutched the hospital bed as she tried to breathe. She was jumping out of the bed, her body going up and down.

There was absolute fear in her eyes as she lifted her hand to feel her stomach, but she couldn't. She was too weak. Physically and emotionally weak.

Slowly, her eyes closed reminiscing the moments of her life and trying to get the sights of a happy future.

The pain had spread all over her body taking it over fully, seeming to inch towards eternity.

She parted her lips, but couldn't find the right thing to say. Nothing was coming, and she didn't have any time to figure it out. "Nooo... She let the word drain off into nothingness. It was all she could say. It was all that could be said in that moment.

Right at that moment, she knew she probably wasn't going to make it but someone else would.

She smiled weakly before her eyes fully closed and drops of tears fell down her face.

Her hands started slowing down at it shook. The machine didn't work anymore. Her strength, her energy was over.

Her hands suddenly dropped to the side of the bed. She was there on the bed, pale.

Siddarth backed away in shock.

"NO! NO!

The doctors took off their mask and made their way out of the room and told Siddarth the horrifying news.

Back to the present:

It was morning time. Both SidNi and Rahoniya were packing up to leave.

They were going back to India after a long time.

However, who knew what was going to be waiting for them when they reach?

Siddarth was in the middle of his shower.

Roshni was with Soniya making sure everything was okay with her.

Siddarth realised he forgot the towel outside.

"Roshni!", he called out.

No answer came.

"Roshni baby! I forgot the towel on the bed!", he slowly got to know Roshni wasn't there when he heard no answer.

He went out and as soon as he went out he saw the room service guy.

He got a shock and was a bit creeped out when he noticed the room service guy staring at him from bottom to top.

Siddarth quickly grabbed the towel on the bed and covered himself.

The room service guys slowly went out of the room followed in Roshni.

"Ajeeb hain yaar", Siddarth thought.

"Siddarth have you not gotten ready yet, come on".

Roshni noticed Siddarth was lost in some thoughts.

"Jaan where are you lost?", Roshni patted him on his shoulder.

"Baby I swear, this Mexico city is dangerous, he mocked.

"Kyun kya hua.

Then Siddarth told her what happened

"I swear yaar, that room service guy was gay.

Roshni bursted out laughing and couldn't control her laughter.

Siddarth chased her around the room, causing both to trip over the carpet and fall on the bed.

Roshni was on top of Siddarth's bare body.

She leaned on Siddarth's chest and they both laughed out loud.

"Baby one thing's for sure though. Chahe ladki ho ya ladka, you'll always be mine, Roshni smiled.

"Right I'll always be yours, he winked at her.

They both got up and got ready to leave.

On the other side Soniya was bringing out their luggage to the reception along with Rahul to sign out.

"Yes Mr and Mrs. Rahul Khurana, Rahul informed the receptionist.

Suddenly, Soniya gasped and tried to breathe in but she couldn't. It was as if someone had slowly sucked the life out of her.

She moved back slowly and held her stomach as if she was going to fall.

"Jellybean!, Rahul called out worrying.

He rushed by her side and managed to stop her from falling.

"Rahul, she was unstable.

Rahul took out something out of her handbag and quickly put it in her mouth. It was some sort of special pill.

She started calming down. The medicine was calming down her nerves.

Roshni and Siddarth was coming along.

"Oh crap!!, Roshni shouted out.

They ran to her and Roshni hugged her making sure she was okay.

"What's this Sonu, you need to take care of this baby na, Roshni complained sternly.

Soniya nodded slightly and tried to breathe carefully.

"Rahul are you sure she can travel?, Siddarth asked him.

"Yeah bro, mom said that it's only been a few weeks so it's alright to travel now.

"Hmm, let's do one thing. In the airplane let me sit next to her because I know all about her medicines and all, maa ne mujhe bataya tha. And plus, the obvious reason, I am a woman so..., Roshni suggested.

"Roshni is right, Siddarth agreed.

They all agreed to change seats in the airplane just so Soniya would be taken care of properly.

Roshni held Siddarth's hand.

"Thank you Siddarth, she sweetly whispered.

"For what?.

"For the airplane thing.

He sighed. "You listen to me carefully Mrs.Siddarth Khurana, thank you isn't allowed in our relationship, he kissed her forehead.

Roshni gave him a peck on his cheek.

"Vaise bi, come on baby, I know you are worried about the fact that we won't get to romance on the airplane., he teased her.

"Excuse me, she put her hands on her hips.

"Aur nahi toh kya? You are upset that you won't be able to take advantage of this sexy body and that some other girl might.., he got interrupted quickly.

"Other girl!?, she glared at him.

"Kya hain na baby tum toh Soniya ke paas betne wali ho toh agar koi aur ladki mere paas..you know?, he was enjoying her reaction.

She was burning at the thought of it and gave him a death stare.

"What if the girl...?, again he was interrupted.

"Stop it Siddarth!! If I see another girl with you, I will strangle you both, she came closer to his face and pretended as if she was going to strangle him.

"Okay okay, he pulled her closer and gave her a side hug and laughed.

Roshni sighed, "I wish our private jet was here.

"Babyy I know, but what to do, it needed repairing.

They all made their way to the car to go to the airport.

Airport:

They went to find a place to eat before the plane took off. They were all famished.

"Are you actually serious?, Roshni moaned as she saw all the restaurants full and long queues. It was ridiculous.

Siddarth and Rahul looked at each other and back at their hungry wives.

"Jellybean kuch karo na, why are you just standing there like a statue?, Soniya shouted.

"Here she goes, with her mood swings again, Rahul replied.

Soniya gave him a fierce look.

"Oh haan, I forgot this is your normal self.

Before they started into their fighting again, Siddarth interrupted them. "Saali Sahiba don't worry I'll find some way.

He gave Roshni a reassuring look. They had to be fast, there was only 15 mins left until they were supposed to get on the plane.

They walked down to Mc.Donalds and saw that it was full.

"We can wait for someone to get up and order while we wait, to not waste time, Roshni suggested.

"Haaye baby smart.

"After all kiski biwi hoon?, Roshni kissed Siddarth's cheeks.

Roshni and Soniya was glaring at everyone, everywhere to wait for someone to get up, while Sid and Rahul ordered.

After a few minutes, a family of four got up and Roshni rushed down as fast as they could to sit down before anyone else could.

At the same time, an American girl wearing a striped brown dress appeared in front of them.

"Excuse me, she murmered while trying to sit down.

Soniya blocked her. Roshni was shocked at this. "Sonu calm down na, Roshni patted her shoulder.

"Sorry but we were here first, Soniya tried to say nicely but ended up saying it in a sarcastic tone.

"No offence, but you are only two, we are four, my friends are outside, the girl claimed.

"What do you mean? Huh? We have friends too ordering food for us... Eh I mean our husbands, Soniya retorted.

"You mean those two monkey faces standing there?.

Roshni's mouth became o shaped.

"Oh hello, at least we have husbands, you probably don't even have a boyfriend, especially since you are wearing an ugly dress like that, Roshni insulted her back.

Soniya smirked and high fived Roshni.

"What would you know about style, fashion?, the girl examined Roshni from bottom to top.

"I'll have you know, I am a model, Roshni sassed.

"That's hard to believe.

"What did you say?.

"Nothing, vaise bi I am sitting here, there's no space for a fatso like you, she pointed to Soniya.

"It's called being pregnant bitch.

"Eh girls.., Siddarth and Rahul called out from behind, each with two boxes of fries in their hands.

"What!, the girls turned around fuming with anger.

"Our flight is in two minutes, Siddarth said expecting their outburst.

Roshni and Soniya looked at each other and ran.

"Sonu babes don't run, take your time, Roshni calmed her down.

They were walking fast and trying to shove the fries into their mouth at the same time.

Finally, they made it and went inside the plane to take their seats.

As planned, Roshni and Soniya sat beside each other, while Rahul and Siddarth sat beside each other few seats above where Roshni and Soniya were sitting.

Rahul and Siddarth were sitting in a three row arrangement.

"All okay na?, Roshni asked Soniya who nodded.

"Oh my god, Soniya sounded out those three words slowly and surprisingly.

"Kya hua?.

Soniya pointed out in front of them, where there was that same American girl.

"Please bhagwanji, please don't make her sit beside my jaan, my Siddarth, Roshni pleaded.

To Roshni's horror, she sat beside Siddarth.

Roshni took a deep breath and relaxed her nerves.

"Uss chudail ki itni himmat, Soniya fumed.

Few minutes passed but Roshni's eyes didn't move from Sid.

It's not that she didn't trust Sid, but it was that she didn't trust the girl.

"Hi, I am Hailey, the girl forwarded her hand to Sid.

Siddarth looked at her and smiled. He shook her hand and reacted by saying "Hi, I am Siddarth. I think I have seen you before.

Roshni's blood boiled. Their interaction was itching her head. There was only one question in her mind, "What could they be talking about?.

Hailey nodded and Siddarth broke the silence. "Oh yes, now I remember you are the same girl who insulted my wife ten minutes back.

Her face changed as soon as she heard the words. She cleared her throat and looked back at the magazine she was reading.

As soon as Roshni saw that they stopped talking, she sighed and made herself more comfortable.

They had finally reached India.

They were gleaming with happiness as they saw both Patel and Khurana family standing waiting for them.

They went over and hugged them. It was quite a long time since they saw them. Who knows if this happiness is going to say intact?
