Part 17: Ratnagarbha's Birthday Party

As Tej came out of the room, he was shocked to come face to face with the 4 girls.

"What were you doing here? asked Chapla.

"I-I-I was passing by and saw that Mangal was n-n-not right s-s-so I fooled him, stammered Tej.

Chapla and other girls burst into laughing.

"Why are you laughing? asked Tej puzzled.

"Because of you we did not had to do any efforts in dealing with Mangal Singh, replied Chapla.

"Thanks Tej for helping us, said Ragini.

"There is no need to say thanks, Ragini. I fight with her a lot does not means I will let any man marry her. If I had to do such a thing again then I will do it, said Tej.

"Agar tum aisa hi karte rahe to Chapla saari zindagi kunwari reh jaayegi, joked Champa.

Others laughed at this.

"Tej, you did right. We were fed up of acting nice with him. He was so annoying, said CK.

Tej felt some unknown happiness on driving away Mangal Singh.

Scene shifts to Marich, SD, Kroor Singh and others.

"Today is Maharani Ratnagarbha's birthday and rajkumari has not invited me, said KS sadly.

SD laughed and said, "Kroor Singh, you are thinking of invitation of Maharani Ratnagarbha's birthday from Chandrakanta when in reality she will kill you if she sees you.

"Don't make fun of me, said KS.

"I am saying the truth, said SD.

"Its good that they are busy in birthday celebrations. My men can attack them, said Marich.

"Yes and then we will capture Virendra and Chandrakanta, said SD with a smile.

It was evening when RG's birthday party was started. In the birthday party, royal families from several kingdoms were invited. There was tight security so that no enemy takes advantage of the party. V and CK's parents has made the security very tight as they don't want any risk from the enemies after seeing in RG's magic bowl that how their children died in their previous birth while performing yagna. CK went to her parents to ask about it. V was with her.

"Maa, pitaji, why the security is so big? asked CK.

"We have to think for our safety as everyone will be busy in the party, replied JS.

"But isn't the security is too big? asked CK.

"Its necessary, replied RG.

V who was with CK noticed her parents worried.

"Is something worrying you both? asked V.

"No beta, you both enjoy the party, replied JS.

ChaVi left from there while JS and RG got sad thinking how they died in their previous birth.

Ragini was walking around to find CK when 2 princesses of different kingdoms come in front of her. They look at her up and down and smile at themselves.

"Friend, I wonder from where this poor girl got such an expensive dress, said 1st girl.

"Even I wonder the same, friend, said 2nd girl.

"Its her dress only, came a voice.

The 2 princesses were shocked to see CK.

"I was looking for you but these 2 princesses in front of me, said Ragini.

"Were you both insulting my friend? asked CK sternly.

The princesses fell silent.

"These 2 were wondering from where I got such an expensive dress, said Ragini.

CK looked at both of them hard and then said with a smile, "Mujhe bolna to nahi chaahiye but you both don't know that Ragini is the daughter of a very rich merchant. Her family s richer than both your families combined. So the expensive dress she is wearing is hers only.

The princesses were embarrassed.

"We are sorry, Ragini, apologized the princesses.

"Its okay, said Ragini.

"I hope you would have apologized to her even if she was not rich. Being rich and from royal families does not give you rights to put anyone down, said CK.

The princesses were too embarrassed to look at her and Ragini. They left from there.

Scene shifts to Marich's khunkhaars walking towards Vijaygarh. Seeing such a tight security they went back knowing well that they will not be able to go inside.

While ChaVi were talking with each other, a princess from another kingdom comes there.

"Himani, why you came here? asked CK.

"I want your help, replied Himani.

"Help from me? What kind of help? asked CK with disinterest.

"Chandrakanta, please help me. My step-mother turned out to be an evil woman. She hates me. She was pretending to love me before marriage but after she married my father, she started showing her true colours. She abuses me in the absence of my father but in his presence she pretends to love me. She wants her son to be the heir even though he don't deserve it. Her son too hates me and always bullies me. My elder brother is very sick. I am sure that those mother-son are only behind it. Please help me with my problem, replied Himani.

"Chandra, you did not told me that you are a part-time social worker, said V with a laugh.

"I have not told you because I am not the one, Viru, said CK laughing back.

"I thought so because someone came here to ask you for help, said V.

"She has come for help does not means I will help her, said CK.

"Chandrakanta, what are you saying? asked Himani shockingly, "I am your childhood friend.

"We are not friends anymore and you know that, replied CK rudely, "So you just get lost from here. Maa ke janamdin ke utsav par aayi hai to utsav ka maza le, khaa, pi(drink) aur baad me apne ghar ke liye nikal le. Usse jyaada koi umeed mat karna, Himani Devi.

"Why are you behaving like this with me? asked Himani sadly.

"Because she is a bad person like me. We both are evil persons who only think bad of others and are murderers who kill anyone they want. And a bad person like her can't help a good person like you. So expect any help from her, replied V sarcastically.

"I am really sorry for that day, said Himani.

"Keep your sorry with you only, Himani Devi, said CK.

"I know you are angry with me but I am your friend, said Himani.

"Didn't you heard properly for the 1st time that we are no longer friends? asked CK rudely, "And talking about being friends, where was your friendship when you insulted me, Viru and both of our families the last time you were invited at my party in Rampur?

"Did you forgot what all you said or should we remind you of all that? asked V.

Himani becomes quiet not able to say anything. She feels sad and regrets for her mistake.

"Now you will that I am such a devil for trying to kill my 1st fiance Shiv Dutt, said CK.

"No, I will not say like this. I know you did right, said Himani.

"You are saying this just because you want help from us now, said CK rudely.

Himani did not knew how to convince them that she is regretting her mistake.

"Now why are you standing here? Get lost from here, said CK arrogantly.

Himani leaves from there sadly while ChaVi looks on without showing any emotions.

-----Flashback for the readers-----

2 days after CK and her friends returned from visiting V's palace for the 1st time, there was a celebration kept in Rampur by CK and her parents to celebrate their victory.

3 guys comes to CK who was alone.

"Its good that one of us did not got married to a man like you, said 1st guy.

"Man? asked CK shockingly.

"Yes man because you are also interested in fighting which only men do, replied 2nd guy.

V who was nearby comes to them.

"I can't believe you rejected a man like Shiv Dutt for a khunkhaar, said 3rd guy.

"Looks like you guys were living under a rock when Shiv Dutt's issue happened, joked V.

The men got embarrassed not knowing what to say. Himani comes there.

"Chandrakanta did not choose any guy earlier because she was looking for a murderer like herself which has finally got that is Virendra. She and her parents has won this kingdom over their own relatives blood. I don't want to be your friend anymore, Chandrakanta, said Himani.

CK was hurt by what she said but she did not showed up.

"I don't know whats wrong with you, Himani. Whose language are you talking? Yours are your would be step-mothers'? asked CK, "I am again telling you to not rush into agreeing this wedding. You should spend some more time with her and her son Ranjit.

"You don't tell me what to do. I am saying on my own not anyone else's language, replied Himani rudely, "I don't need to doubt rajkumari Kalyaniji and Ranjit. I trust them. I love them unlike you and your family who killed your entire step family. Your mother killed the woman who looked after you since childhood and you killed your step-brother.

"Himani, you don't know the entire thing, said CK.

"Chandrakanta, lets leave her. Its no use talking to her, said V.

"Yes it will be no use of talking to me because I will not understand the language of you both murderers. (to V)Your parents too were bad people and would have done many sins which made them lose their real son in return of a person like Shiv Dutt. (to CK)Your father always loved only you and never loved your step-brother and who knows something must have happened between your mother and Marich as she was with him for so years, said Himani.

"Excuse me? What the hell did you say now about my mother? asked CK getting angry, "I am controlling myself a lot from slapping a spoilt brat like you. Being a woman yourself you say such a cheap thing about another woman. Yaha kya modern Ramayan chal raha hai kya? Agar kuch ho bhi jaata fir bhi meri maa ki galti nahi hoti. Ramayan khatam huve 2 yug beet chuke fir bhi teri soch nahi badli. I wish you had not said the same about yourself if you were raped.

"How can say sucha cheap thing? shouted Himani angrily.

"You started it, replied CK with a mocking smile.

"You better don't come in front of us again if you don't want to get insulted more. If you were not a girl then I would have taught you a lesson for hurting my Chandrakanta, said V firmly.

Himani left from there annoyingly.

-----Flashback Ends-----

Himani was about to go ChaVi again but their mothers who heard everything stopped her.

"Don't trouble our children with your problem. They already have their own problems, said RG.

"Do you any idea our children has to fight with what kind of people everyday? Leave them alone and don't burden them with your problem which you yourself created, said Padvika.

Himani sadly leaves from there.

"Should we help her or not? asked RG.

"I think we should help her, replied Padvika.

Scene shifts to Chaunargarh. Marich scolds his khunkhaars for returning back without doing anything. The khunkhaars explained him that the security was very tight.

"Pitaji, they have become very careful now knowing the dangers from us, said SD.

"I think we 4 aiyyars should enter the place in disguise of Vijaygarh soldiers, said Badri.

"Yes you 4 go now. I want Virendra and Chandrakanta here, said Marich.

The 4 aiyyars left from there.

Scene shifts to SiyaRam walking around Yaksh Mahal caves.

"I feel something is not right, said Param.

"Why? asked Siyali.

"I feel as if Virendra and Chandrakanta are in some danger, replied Param.

"There is a party in Vijaygarh. Lets go there to check on them, said Siyali.

"Yes, said Param.

SD's 4 aiyyars comes in disguise of Vijaygarh soldier outside the palace.

"We should somehow enter inside, said Badri.

"Yes, said Ramnarayan.

They started moving forward but before they could enter the gate, they are thrown in the air by some force making them fall far away and them coming to their original form.

"Who is it? asked Pannal shockingly.

"It looks some magical force, replied Badri.

Some soldiers see them and starts running towards them.

"We should run before they catch us, said Ramnarayan.

They run away to avoid being caught. The soldiers went back to their place. As everyone go, SiyaRam comes to the gate and smiles seeing them run. The soldiers could not see them.

"Virendra aur Chandrakanta ki hi jeet hogi, said Param.

"Unka vo anjaam nahi hoga jo Harshvardhan aur Chandrika ka hua tha, said Siyali.

"It's surely the work of Marich and Shiv Dutt, said Param.

"Good that we reached here and failed their plan, said Siyali.

A soldier came inside and told everyone that how they saw 4 soldiers being thrown into air due to some magic force and them revealed as Marich's 4 aiyyars. All are shocked.

"So they have again planned something, said JS.

"But who would have driven them away? asked Surendra.

"Someone has helped us, said V.

"You can go now. Do inform us if something happens again, said CK.

"Yes yuvraniji, said the soldier and left.

"Even after keeping such a tight security, this incident happened, said RG.

"Marich would have sent his khunkhaars earlier but seeing such a tight security they would have left so his aiyyars tried to enter in disguise of Vijaygarh soldiers, said Tej.

"Yes, this only would have happened, said JS.

"If there is problem then why are we even called for the party? asked Kalyani whining, "You all have not even started the feast for which you called us but your own problem came.

"Maharani Kalyani, you can leave if you have any problem. No one is forcing you to stay here, said CK calmly, "The problem that happened was not our fault. We did not called the problem.

Kalyani realized that she messed with the wrong family.

"Don't mind beta, I was just joking, said Kalyani with a fake smile, "Vo kya hai na? I am so hungry and have not eaten from a long time so I behaved like this. Please forgive me for this.

"I understand that you are very hungry but even we all have not eaten from a long time. Anyways, the feast will be there in some time so please wait for it, replied CK with a fake smile.

Kalyani nodded and went to her husband and son.

"What kind of sample(namoona) you have invited, pitaji? whispered CK.

"I had to invite her due to Maharaj Giriraj Singh, whispered back JS.

"I think you and Virendra should help your friend Himani, said RG.

"You are saying this even after what she did last time, said CK.

"You know what cheap thing she said about you, said V.

"That also in front of so many people. Don't say you forgave her, said CK.

"I did not forgave her but she was your friend. You both should help her for her father and her elder brother Lakshya. They are not at any fault, said RG.

"Fine we will try to help her but that does not means I will again be friends with her, said CK.

"You want to be again be friends with her or not is your wish, said RG.
