Hi Divyaa I've finally got round to commenting & must say wow! what a great understanding of the characters you have :)

I knew that Kanak herself was going to give Uma the divorce papers, but just thought this was part of the cat & mouse game with maasisa. Your explanation of the wording makes perfect sense...Kanak has already asked Uma to trust her & she has managed to win his trust back, so the wording on
the divorce papers should Uma to question his actions and over time he will realise how interpreting faith in such an extreme manner hinders his relationships & the way he treats people (he has already had an example of that with the Payal situation)

I think the track will eventually result in Uma asking for kanak's consent for marriage and the both of them will remarry... but I am a bit worried that Uma may react badly and think that he is not worthy of Kanak & may instead try and free her, so she can live a life on her terms. He may think of this as his punishment for forcing her into marriage (we all know how much Uma likes giving dhandh to the guilty

Dear friend,
Did you know that Uma had apologized two separate times for forced wedding style not the marriage itself as he said in his words. Once in Kerala , I think day 1 or two of the marriage in front of mirror. I wish he would apologize for divorcing her with a " may tumhara tyaag kartha hoo! " and throwing kanak out of the house at night like that. He could have at least the common courtesy to hear her out and if not that at least realize if he married her for Shiv then why is that reason not there all of a sudden. And even though divorce is not even allowed in Hindu dharam then why is Uma doing that? He follows everything else down to the t'. And chalo if you were in that crazy possessed mode at least ask gabba sa to drop kanak off to pushkar instead of throwing her out in the night when you know her family is not close by. Unbelievably despicable!
