Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have been enjoying marital bliss. Rani who became a mother to daughter Adira Chopra in December 2015 is all set to make her comeback with Yash Raj Film's Hichki which is slated to release in Februrary 2018.

She spoke about her career choices in an interview with a noted journalist and said, "I've always been fearless. Rani is not on social media and has always said that it is because her husband is a very private person. About that, Rani said, "I can't imagine posting a picture of my family on social media.

Rani also spoke about the lukewarm response that husband's directorial venture, Befikre got. She said that she loved the film. "I loved Befikre, but it was hard for Aditya Chopra to see failure, said Rani. Rani also spoke about how Aditya Chopra dealt with failure for the first time in his life.

Vaani Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer Befikre was Aditya Chopra's first directorial venture without Shah Rukh Khan. After the film's debacle, Vaani had partially accepted the blame and had said, "I know that the film has got polarised reviews. It will get its due in the coming years. I have always felt that I was the biggest risk factor and the biggest bet for 'Befikre' because everyone else in the team had achieved something and have already proven their worth in their respective fields. I was the new face who stood a chance to be accepted or not.

don't know how she can sit there and say all this, knowing that the star of the movie got reviews like:
'electrocuted monkey'

I also remember vani got some nasty says about her face structure...

wow...but then pyar insaan ko andha bana dehtaa hai and zabaan sehh kuch bhi nikal jaat hai...without thinking, isse adi sehh bahut pyar hai.

I feel sorry for vani and veer, they should stop her from opening a can of worms.

It should have had better casting too. Ranveer is just too ugly especially when the camera angles don't capture him at his best. Vaani's face also looked like a disaster.

It should have had someone like Sid Malhotra with some hot new girl. It would have reduced the creepiness factor.

+1

This movie desperately needed a better looking cast!

Befikre was a piece of shit...I don't even know what Adi was thinking making that movie.
But on camera, Rani has to defend her husband. Who wouldn't? She's not going to publicly go out and say 'yeah it was crap..blah blah blah.' Failure is always hard to see...But failure is what picks you up and makes you stronger and more determined than ever. He tried, he failed, he'll try again... Its a cycle.
