Acc to this article shooting schedule is of one year so I think its not gonna be a 6 month series plus two episode will depict one single story

If DD could set a mark in one year the channel can give a longer run to the show nd producers...

I have a feeling that there will be a second season.

Btw the actors are going to get tired. 2 episodes of 40-45 minutes and shooting outside mean that the shooting time will be longer than what it is normally.

No wonder they are spending that much. The salary of the cast and crew will be higher as they are working more. I hope their hardwork pays off and the show gets very good ratings.

the fate of all the shows depends on trp...if the show gets good trp then channel gives extension...and if the show is not able to fetch desirable trp then channel pulls the plug before time.

DD has scope for family drama...Zee and Illa Bedi & Co are fully capable of making any drastic change in the storyline to fetch more numbers

Yes ultimately it is trp that decide the fate of the show. As this weekend show and title is detective so i think the family drama will be less and crime scene will more.
