Next morning Shaurya woke up first and left for morning jog. Ayaan was still sleeping. After freshening up,Mahek came to her room to find Sonal sitting on the bed caressing little Ayaan's hair. "Hello meri Jaan! How's everything...and how was your suhaag Raat?" She asked with a glint of mischief in her voice. "I knew you would come and ask me this." Said Mahek while brushing her wet hair. "Come on tell me I really wanna know!" Sonal insisted. Mahek hit her gently on the head. "When you have your first night with Neeraj then I'll ask you the same question!" "Ok so you will not tell me anything?" Sonal made a sad face. "Arey Kya batau? Nothing happened...I want mom dad's blessing before we can do anything." Mahek told her. "What? Are you serious? You both were away from each since past five years and now when you are finally married,you will keep your distance for some blessing? I don't believe this!" Snapped Sonal. Mahek tried to explain but Sonal was in mood to listen. Little Ayaan who was up but kept his eyes close,heard their conversation. "Main chalti Hun ..see you at breakfast." Saying that Sonal left. "Good morning momma!" Ayaan jumped out of bed,startling Mahek and kissed her cheeks. "Good morning love! You scared your mommy!" Ayaan giggled. "Sholly ma!" He kissed her cheeks again. "I'll go say good morning to everyone and come! Then dad will give me a shower! Ok mommy?" Mahek pulled his chubby cheeks. "Ok but come fast otherwise we'll miss breakfast." Ayaan ran outside to catch his Sona masi. "Good morning Sona masi! Do you have a minute?" "Good morning sweetheart! Of course baby!" Sonal picked him up and kissed his chubby cheeks. "What is suhaag Raat?" He asked. Sonal's eyes widened. "Where did you learn that word from?" "Sorry masi...when you and momma were talking,I was eavesdropping ..." He made a puppy face. Sonal laughed. "You are such a naughty boy you know that?" "Sometimes I am!" He flashed his teeth. Sonal took him to her cabin and made him sit on the chair. "Now tell me why you wanna know what that word means?" "If I know the meaning then may be I can help my parents." He told her. Sonal thought he can bring his parents together like he did before. "Suhaag Raat means after marriage,a couple like your mom and dad spends the night alone in their room." Ayaan thought for a moment. "Oh but my parents didn't! I was sleeping with them all night long!" He said sadly. "It's ok baby...from tonight you can bring some changes. Your mom wants blessing from your grandparents before she can share the room with your dad." Sonal told him. "Oh I see! I'll solve that problem just now! Masi,Can I borrow your phone for few minutes?" Sonal gave him her phone and he dialled his grandmas number.
Shaurya had not returned so Mahek gave Ayaan a shower and got him ready for breakfast. "Mom,you come with dad later,I'm gonna go as I have very important work to do!" He hopped away towards the dinning. Mahek tried Shaurya's cell phone but his phone rang somewhere in the room. Suddenly two strong arms snaked around her waist from the back. Startled,she screamed. Those arms tossed her around and she was staring in the dark eyes of shaurya. "Fear not babe! it's me your pati parmeshwar!" Mahek exhaled. "Thank god you are back! I thought you went exploring the globe!" She teased him. He pulled her on him and she collided with his rock hard chest. Her bath robe slipped from her shoulders. "I wanted to go explore the globe but then I remembered I got married but haven't really consummated our marriage so I came back! We Couldn't do it last night so what? We can do it right now! What say?" Mahek looked at him as colour rose to her cheeks. "Ayaan is waiting for us at the dinning." She said softly. "You have become very good at making excuses peaches!" He said while tucking her wet hair behind her ears. "Trust me Shaurya he's waiting for us! Now go have your shower!" She tried to push him but he grabbed her wrists. "Our son is smarter then what we think peaches,I met him on the way..He had eaten with Sonal and the rest. Right now he's on a mission to surprise us so we can't go outside and ruin everything he had planned! He'll call us once he's done alright? And Once I'm done with the shower,we can order breakfast and eat in." He kissed her fingers. "And just a friendly reminder,by the end of the day,you'll be left with zero excuses hence our suhagraat is confirmed! So get ready peaches!" He pulled on the bra strap on her shoulder. "Shaurya!" She hit him on his hand. He chuckled. Mahek swallowed to moisten her throat which went dry on her. He winked at her and left towards the washroom. "What have father son planned?" She ran out to the main door but it was locked from outside! Little Ayaan had locked his momma papa in! "What have you planned my baby?" She said in her heart. "Mahek! Can you pass me the towel please?" Shaurya howled from inside the washroom. "Just a second!" She rushed to the washroom door with the towel in her hand. "Shaurya,I have your towel here!" Inside,Shaurya looked at Mahek and both burst out laughing. "Our son saved you peaches!" He put her down and handed her the towel. "Or else?" She asked while wrapping the towel around her. "Or else you would be lying in bed unable to walk till tomorrow!" She punched him on his tummy. "Mind you this is not my first time Mr khanna that I won't be able to walk!" Shaurya chuckled. "I bet you you won't be saying that after what I do to you tonight!" He kissed her forehead and carried her to the room. "Get dressed we have visitors!" "Visitors?" She asked while digging in the closet for clothes. "Yup visitors! And now don't ask me who they are because I won't be telling you!" Mahek grimaced and got dressed. Outside the door,security guard Ayaan was guarding the door. Vicky came in. "Champ,I need to speak to your dad bacchey." "Sorry chachu! Excess denied!" He spread his arms wide and stood his ground. "But why?" Asked vicky. "Because my parents are busy!" Vicky stood there with his mouth open. Meena also came running in. "Ayaan baba,I have to see Mahek Di now." "Excess denied!" He repeated. "Huh?" She didn't get it and stood there questioning vicky. "Ayaan baby,where are your parents?" Asked Sonal who came there with Neeraj. "They'll be out in a minute masi,I don't want anyone to bother them that's why I'm standing here." He told her. "They Must be enjoying their suhag din." Sonal thought and smiled.
"Leave your hair open peaches! I like your hair like that." He kissed her head and Mahek smiled. "let's go,little man is waiting." He grabbed her hand and both walked towards the door. The door opened and they stepped outside. "Mommy! Daddy!" Ayaan jumped in excitement. Shaurya picked him. "All this while you were standing by the door?" He asked while kissing his chubby cheeks. Ayaan nodded his head. "Yes dad! I made sure no one entered the room!" Shaurya ruffled his hair. "You are such a brave kid!" He kissed his daddy and went on his mommas lap. "Hey mommy I missed you!" "Aww my baby..mommy missed you too!." Mahek kissed him and hugged him to her chest. "Hmmm you smell nice mommy!" He sniffed her perfume again. "But that's papas cologne right?!" Mahek looked at Shaurya for help. "I..I hugged your mom that's why ..." Ayaan laughed. "I knew it!" Everyone shook their head in disbelief. "He's one amazing kid!" Said Neeraj. "Yes he is!" Replied Sonal."Now it's time for the surprise! Are you ready mommy?" Mahek inhaled,exhaled and said "Yes I'm ready!" "And you dad?" "I'm also ready buddy!" "Alright then!" He took their hands and brought them out. The rest followed behind them. Outside in the lawn,stood Harish and Karuna with a big smile on their faces! "Ma! Papa!" Mahek ran to them. Shaurya joined Mahek as she touched their feet for blessing. "Miss Lucy can you please?" Howled Ayaan. Miss Lucy came forward with the basket full of flowers and rained on them as they took blessing from their parents. "Jeete raho! Khush raho! And give us a good news soon." Said Karuna. Mahek's face turned crimson. Karuna hugged her and kissed her forehead. "So our suhagraat is confirmed right?" Shaurya whispered in her ears. Mahek just blushed. "Say it otherwise I'll ask you very loudly and everyone will hear." Maheks eyes widened. She quickly said."Han!" Shaurya chuckled. "There's another surprise momma! Look over there?" Ayaan gestured towards a tree in the lawn. Maheks eyes widened in disbelief. Her mama was walking towards them but her mami stood behind. Maheks eyes welled up. "Mama ji!" She ran to him. Little Ayaan was in for a hi5 with his dad. "Thanks dad! Without your help I wouldn't have located mom's family." "Anything for you buddy!" He picked him up on his lap and all went to meet mama ji. Mahek hugged his mama and took his blessing. Ayaan made sure miss Lucy was present there to rain flowers on them as well. "Mama ji! How are you? I missed you so much! I looked for you everywhere but I couldn't find you!" Sobbed Mahek. "Main theek Hun beta. You couldn't find me but your brave son did!" Mama ji looked at little Ayaan on Shaurya's lap. "Aww...mwaaah mwaaah!" Mahek threw flying kisses at him. He flashed his teeth happily,grabbing the kisses he hugged it to his chest. With tears Mahek called Shaurya for introduction. "I already met him beta!" Mama ji said. Mahek gave both of them a questionable look. "Little Ayaan and Shaurya came searching for me." Mama ji told her. "Oh!" More happy tears rolled down her cheeks. Shaurya came and touched his feet. Mama ji blessed him. "Tum dono Juda hoke bhi saath thay beta." (You both were together even though separated) Shaurya smiled and took Maheks hand in his. Wiping her tears he kissed her hand. Mama ji was happy to see them happy. "Where's mami ji?" She asked looking behind him. "One second mom!" Ayaan ran to mami ji,holding her hand he brought her to Mahek. Before Mahek could say anything,mami ji joined her hand and asked for forgiveness. "Mahek forgive me beta...I have treated you very badly ...I tried to kill..." Mahek didn't let her finish. She held her hands with tears in her eyes. "Please mami ji...past is past...I have forgiven you long time ago...don't ask for forgiveness please ..." Mami was in tears. Mahek wiped her tears and hugged her. Shaurya touched mami's feet and she blessed him. "Miss Lucy flowers please!" Ayaan reminded her. Miss lucy grimaced and threw flowers on them and some on Ayaan . Ayaan giggled. Everyone looked happy. Vicky guided everyone to the dinning for a nice lunch together. "We'll join you guys soon!" Shaurya told them. Everyone left towards the dinning hall. "So Mommy khanna! How was the surprise?" Asked Ayaan. "This was the best surprise ever beta!" Said Mahek. "Thank you Ayaan ...thank you Shaurya ..I don't know what I would do without you both! I love you!" She hugged Shaurya. He kissed the crown of her head. "Anything for you sweetheart! I love you too peaches!" Little Ayaan stood on his toes and hugged them both. "I love you three! Peaches and cuddly bear!" "Aww Mera baccha!" Mahek rained his face with kisses and he loved it when his parents kissed him. Shaurya picked him up and tossed him up in the air. He screamed and laughed. "Dad just don't drop me!" Shaurya held him in his arms and buried his face on his tummy. "That tickles! Dad stop please!...Nooo!" He laughed and laughed as shaurya tickled his tummy with his stubbles. "Mommy can you tickle dad?" Hurry mom!" Mahek started tickling Shaurya under his arms! He laughed and let him go. Ayaan ran from him huffing and trying to catch his breath. "I didn't know you were ticklish under the arms." Said Mahek. "Is it just your under arm or there are other places too?" She asked with a glint of mischief in her eyes. Before she could run for her life,He grabbed by her waist and pulled her on him. Little Ayaan covered his eyes with his hands. "I don't know about me but I would definitely like to find out about your sensitive areas!" Mahek hit him gently and buried her head in his chest. Shaurya chuckled and kissed her head. "Lets go champ,time for lunch!" "Yes daddy!" He hopped on to his daddy's lap. Taking Maheks hand,Shaurya walked towards the dinning hall. At lunch,Mahek noticed something different. Harish and Karuna were looking sad,no matter how hard they tried to be happy,the sadness on their faces were quite visible. Mahek sent a quick text to shaurya. "Mom and dad are looking sad,have you noticed? I wonder everything's ok with them." Shaurya read the message and replied. "I was wondering the same,I will ask them before they leave." Finally lunch came to an end. "Bhai I'll go drop them off,our chopper is having problems." Shaurya nodded. Before they got in the mini van,Shaurya said he wanted to talk to his mom and dad. Mahek followed him. "Mom dad,is everything ok? You both looked sad suddenly...tabiyat toh theek hai na? (Is your health alright?)" Karuna forced a smile and so did Harish. "We are ok beta but don't stay here for too long,I want both of you home as soon as possible." "Ji mom,we'll be back in two days." Mahek assumed something was not right. Bidding good byes,mama mami and mr and mrs khanna left with vicky.
