Yes. But I could overlook it as it was during different times but in today's day and age such ignorance has no place.

It's a movie. The scenes enacted are for pure entertainment. I don't understand why there's so much noise about it as if the actress was kissed forcefully in reality. Don't forget that both actor and actress agreed to do it - there's nothing forced. I hope audience are matured enough to understand it and just concentrate on humor, which may have appealed only to a section.

If we grow so intolerant, tomorrow we may say "how can somebody show murder in a movie or kidnap in a movie "how can movie promote things like taking laws in their own hands?
On one side, we trash political groups for restricting creativity and intervening in movie makers vision and on the other side, we do the same (at a much lesser level though) I would suggest that watch a movie and like it or dislike but please don't question the vision of the maker

There is a big difference between expressing an opinion and governments banning a movie as well as government and/or citizens threatening harm to person and property.

The vision of the maker can and should be questioned. It's called critiquing.

Edited to add. I loathe SLB's movies. Also, David Dhawan's.

. This comparison doesn't makes any sense. I doubt TM is restricting the creativity of the director. He's not asking for the ban of such movies. Yet we all have the right to question a director's vision, as we are the audience. Director should be free to make whatever type of movie he wants, and the audience should also be free to praise or condemn it.
One more thing, movies actually affect the mindset of people, whether it's right or wrong.

I m not pointing to the TM here... I should have made it more clear... I m rather talking about the opinions on feminism that was brought to light by few critics hoping for some publicity...

To one of the other post above, i know the difference between being critical and being forceful. My point is, well i prefer not to waste my time to contradict sarcasm from randoms
