Me is back with my one and only obsession Ranvir 😉
I must be coming across as stupid but I can't help it ...
Anchal is as suspiciously and weirdly heartbroken as Ranvir fell in love with her. Everything about Anchal being in love with Kabir is a long shot, a kind of pretense, there is no intensity of gaze, emotion or passion. Where has the fiery no nonsense lawyer gone, and replaced by this porcelain doll.
Now to friendly Discussion..
Anchal gives Kabir the photographs, yet it's Ranvir to whom she returns her shagun k kangan... Ranvir walks in with a calm persona, he brings a certain kind of thehrav with him, there is no flashy antics, or speeches of rage, or BG to support.. Ranvir has this persona of intriguing calm, a soothing voice and he wants to listen rather than being heard. That's what friends do, they listen, they ask without being judgmental... Ranvir asks her, she replies nothing, he asks again and hold her hand as she turns to leave, Ranvir wouldn't let her go ever.. he is around her like a shadow that kinda reflects herself.
Ranvir knows her inside out, he asks her to look for the truth rather than assume a version of it... to give a chance to Kabir as it's her right to be fair - that's friendly advice, one doesn't go ninja on the cheating BF but with patience and level headed attitude give logical solutions to the friend in need.
Ranvir was supremely amazing in the scene by the window - the softness of his controlled voice, the slight hint of defeat that Anchal has given up already, the way he looked at her with passion, but not creepy. He held her hand, he is comfortable around her... and he knows she looks up to him to be sensible to understand her predicament, and he is fulfilling his role.
Ps - Ranvir fell down with one gash, come on give some proper action sequence... would love to see Ranvir joining the fight with Kabir tomorrow.
