I have watched only Maryan to judge her as an actress. And she freaking over shadowed Dhanush who himself won the best actor for that film. I am sure Parvathy is a brilliant actress irrespective of whatever she wins, national awards is not the criteria anyway otherwise blunders like arjun rampal and saif ali khan would not be in the honors.

I opened the topic thinking they have already selected a winner lol. But I have to admit that if Parvati wins I'll be very happy for her because she completely deserves the recognition. NA or whatever that award maybe, her outstanding talent deserves the recognition. Can't say much about the politics or the uproar from others but for me, I genuinely felt Vikram deserved it for I over Amitabh in Piku. And Akki didn't deserve his for a mediocre performance in Rustom(although he is very underrated in this forum). Nothing to do with where they are from. It's the performance. And this my pov only. Of course there are politics but I feel if they really award Parvathy, NA can redeem itself in my eyes.

PS : I love my Queen but I cannot deny that Parvathy was better than Queen in Simran/Rangoon. :)))

I'll watch this movie soon. She looks very endearing in the trailer.

It's time for Parvathy to shine. 👍🏼 I heard good things about her from QQS reviews too.

Kangana had her NA moments already and perhaps more recognition in future years. 😳
