Ekta's focus and budget allocation towards production of new content for Alt Balaji and few new Hindi movies are widely visible in media. But there may be more to why TV shows from Balaji got reduced. Firstly does she still have same rapport with different popular broadcasters in Hindi GEC area in India? Secondly does she have senior creative teams, writers and technicians left within Balaji telefilms whom she can bank on? 😳 May be no, as only Sandeep Sikcand is left from her old Balaji team who is also going independent as producer..

After YHM launch, the kind of no proper content, no specific concept, no chemistry, no focus and full on debacle daily soaps that Balaji has continuously produced for SP in the recent years, suspect if Star network will soon give Ekta another chance with their flop show experiences with Balaji, and Ekta herself won't approach Sony read she had some fallout over programming, marketing and promotions with team at Sony.

Coming to Zee network, reality is current running story line of KKB or launch of KDB in 2017 didn't greatly benefit Zee network in global markets (first 2.5 years episodes of KKB telecast in global markets still seem to be successful). Even though domestically Zeetv India is somehow managing to get TRP ratings from these two Balaji shows for different reasons.. Anyhow Zee is launching 4-5 new TV shows in the next two months in different zones but as per media reports they are all from different production houses not Balaji,

Left is Colors. As per media reports Ekta is currently auditioning for weekly show Naagin 3 to replace Chandrakanta on Colors channel (she and her team didn't yet learn from Naagin 2 lessons)..😛Colors Raj Nayak still seems to trust her on Naagin franchise may be also due to their friendship, but Colors team also seems to be wary of Balaji team after dull performance of Kasam daily soap.

1000th epi would be something about how pragya saves abhi from a almirah that is about to fall on him or a dengue ka machhar that simonika has trained to specifically bite abhi and they have a eye lock and all that nok jhok. Throw in the dolls too.

Or maybe they will be kidnapped, since it is a tradition for kkb and it hasn't happened in a while. Hope this time they are taken to an underground tunnel or something, I am tired of jungles !

Why dont we look at it from different perspective rather than being all critcal about EK and her shows and can we stop speculating.. She had been in this daily soaps business for more than 20 yrs now which is a long long time and is personally surprising for me that she still holds on to it..

Zee is in the TRP charts ONLY because of her shows - previously KKB and now KDB added.. YHM which went off the top 5 is again back even after 4 yrs of runtime.. now how many other shows or PH are able to achieve this.. not to forget the awards she still wins personally or for her shows in all major award programs.. this wont be possible if channels are upset with her or her content or shows..

Coming to her technical team, while the concept is hers for the new BOSE show on ALT, she collaborated with Hansal which shows that teams are dynamic and wont be the way they worked a decade ago..

Finally while all shows are launched to be successful and get ratings, the truth remains that there can only be 5 at any point as TOP5.. that doesnt mean other shows are not telecasted.. dont we have so many shows running for 2-3 yrs without coming into top 5 TRPs ever, without winning any awards.. and they are rerun again and again..

but every channel has so many slots through the day and shows keep running.. with or without so called success..doesnt mean PHs are closing down or stop making new shows..

And I am not even talking about content or logic.. fictional content is never meant to be about logic..its all about commerce and business..

My observations were mainly about daily TV soaps from Balaji telefilms that got launched and telecast on different Hindi GECs last 3 yrs and their overall performance, feedbacks from channels, advertisers, TV critics and audiences. It was NOT about Ekta's hindi movies nor Alt Balaji shows content nor about her dedicated and senior experienced teams currently working for hind movies or Alt Balaji nor the collaborations Balaji forged for them. 😊

PS.

BARC shares top 20 shows list in urban and rural charts every week, its not confined to publishing top 5 shows list. Channels, advertisers, production and media houses all of them receive a detailed list from BARC.

I get what you were trying to say, probably you didnt quite get my POV.. Anyways would appreciate if you could say it is just ur opinion than say all that u feel as universal facts..

how do u know the feedback from channel, advertisers, TV critics.. that I feel is presenting incorrect data.. which channel CEO or program head is sharing this info with you

And please stop contradicting ur self.. when u write something in one post, it makes sense to stick to it than have a change of mind in next one..

U did mention about her team and mentioned couple of names and now u say its NOT about them.. seriously!!!

BARC gives top 5 and top 10 based on the category.. where did they release top20?
