@Arshifan thanks for the detailed info. I m not judging Zain but I love him and care for him. So I was concerned about his health. Its not just Zain in real life I keep telling my friends to stop smoking too cause I know its harmful and I care for them. Thats a different thing they don't listen ever.šThat's why all this discussion. And I agree it's his personal life and his wish. As a concerned fan we were just saying. I m not gonna force him and comment on his social media to quit smoking and I don't think his smoking would make me love him lessš. But yes all this surely making me worry about his health in the long run

Actually In Islam both drinking and smoking are strictly prohibited. Zain follows one rule while ignore the other. Its not just Zain same with the mans in my family(Especially My Brothersš”) . They r all against drinking and will never touch it as its not allowed but when it comes to smoking they forget the rules. No matter how much u tell them its harmful and its also prohibited for us just like drinking they won't listenš”
You're misinformed. Alcohol is haraam (unlawful and completely prohibited; worthy of punishment), and smoking tobacco is makrooh (not unlawful, but a person is rewarded if they abstain, but not punished if you do it). I swear I thought zain once said he doesn't smoke. Either way, smoking is harmful to health, and agree with everyone here who are saying how people misconceive tobacco free sheesha as perfectly harmless. It's common sense anyway, that inhaling smoke is harmful, so why should it matter whether it has tobacco or toxins.
