EDT~ ep 24, 23 11.17, stance~ fare thee well! my friend..
Humans are social animals, and as such are naturally prone to look for soul mates, companions and associates other than their family. Besides having friends is also seen as a progressive step in people's social skills. The episode comes across to me as Sharanya's brave endeavour in maintaining loyalty towards Vyom, whom she considers as a dear friend. She is seen facing tough decisive action. Whereby she literally jumps off an emotional cliff into a valley of much heart break... rather like no return!
She was never so cold hearted ,so as to leave her friend Vyom out in the cold. In one way she is cold to the way he reacts to her emotionally. But then again, she is loyal and sincere to Vyom,in as much she never led him on. Whenever he got too hot to handle, she would alert him to how she felt about his one sided love. Vyom's love which to this day she never felt. But loyalty to him as a friend she still has loads off. Shranaya's comradeship towards him may well stem out of sheer gratitude to him as well, for tending to her family.. Waiting upon her for the past two years. Yet she regrets, alas! She cannot reciprocate love for Vyom the way he feels for her.. As he is still in her care, Sharanya feels obliged to drop him home safely .. On her scooty which she laughingly adds, she can ride safely without causing collisions . She does with driving cars!
Riding on the back of her scooty for Vyom is a green signal that happy days with the love of his life Sharanya are back again. Transporting Vyom back to the haven of his home is firstly, him confronting a chiding mother, Madhvi.
Sharanya unknown to Vyom is on a clear mission. She has to been short! sharp! and shrift in her actions! Thus to Vyom's room , and some brief moments with him, acting as his nurse, making the patient comfortably ! Chandni does her usual winding up Madhvi against Sharanya .. Taunts at the girls guts, at strutting about the house as if she owns it ! Her taunts yet again render Madhvi insecure about having Sharanya as her son's wife..
Vyom's painkiller , Sharanya gives him for his guitar string slit finger, will be insufficient to alleviate the deep trauma she plans to give him shortly! Its like she prepares him emotionally.. its fine to love, but if it becomes reason to cause pain, then its best to forfeit that love. Vyom catches on to what she goes on about. He reasons with her that what he feels for her is no infatuation... it is not a wanting, but rather a need that has to be met , for his survival. Sharanya is well grounded and one more time she reminds him of the pain of an unrequited love... Vyom, acts smart, and almost verbally manipulates her into believing that she is confused about how what she feels towards him. Vyom attempts to read meaning into her actions of tearful concern for him.. he calls it manifestations of her love! she admits , it 's love of friendship she feels for him.. either he falsely believes that she too loves him ,but is stubborn to confess it ? or Sharanya perhaps does love him.. more than just as a friend??
Stay but a while longer..Vyom submits totally before her.. as the sleeping pill begins to take effect upon Vyom.. Sharanya caresses his forehead as if he were a child. No! she cannot be taken in by Vyom s ardent word and actions, Odhni's prophetic words the more Vyom comes closer to her the more his life is likely to be in danger of being smitten by Sharanya's unseen presence .. the spirit will get him!
Madhvi cusses Sharanya for endangering her sons life by being an unwanted presence around him! Sharanya with much dignity in what she feels for Vyom , literally hands a son back to his paranoid mother! Madhvi is struck down by disbelief when Sharanya agrees that a flurry of mishaps have befallen upon Vyom.. she feels responsible and as such.. she bequeaths her friend into her hands and as off now she walks out of Vyom's life forever! She has drugged him.. sleep descends on him for a good few hours.. once he wakes up she would have gone from his life!! this news is elation for Madhvi but devastation for Rati .. As for Shiv.. who is ever present around Sharanya, is over the moon!! Just as he wants.. Sharanya smothered by Vyom's passion for her is walking out of Vyom's life forever!
One more good bye.. the final one! and the most heart breaking one. Sharanya also walks out of her paternal house! Even the dog.. a faithful animal stops her from leaving.
But for Sharanya the urgency is greater for her to leave right away! than her family's tears! Outside the house she shudders and shivers.. a sure sign that the unseen presence is about... her spirit cries out in anger at him.. now that she leaves all.. she hopes the spirit in return for herself will spare the lives of her loved ones... Shiv waits with a smug expression on the front seat of the car.. Sharanya sits in the rear of the car...
Where he leads her too is unknown or known to him ??? For her too, its destination unknown! But she gave up all for her loved one's security ,in the hope that she will also be on to something about herself.. one Sharanya that is lost somewhere??
Drunken and disorderly! Madhvi warns Rati about exposing the truth to Vyom! But he is meant to known ,the whole truth ! the ugly truth through Rati! Vyom truly wakes up from his induced sleep! Now he will go after his true love! in a semi drugged state! and if he dies ,so be it !he lays down his life in the name of love!! what good is he alive this way without Sharanya anyway? Life minus Sharanya will be equal to .. Vyom in a coma!!! Hamlet53 24.11.17..
Shiv's.. voice over verses.. "where ever you venture forth, you will find me beside yourself. Be it hate, but this insanity will be beside you till death do us part...
