Wasn't Zee the first channel to launch in India? 😳 I've always been more of a fan of the shows on Sony over Star Plus and Zee. Sony moved away from the typical saas bahu saga years ago. Ami, have you watched Mishal's other shows?

Not sure DAZZ about Zee being the first channel... Good to learn about Sony.. I wonder how they keep up with the revenue with different shows..
Regarding Mishal, I came to know about him thru Ishq only. After Ishq I tried some episodes of LTL and Maharakshak Aaryan but then due to time constraints could not watch more online..

OK as per wikipedia

Star TV Network introduced five major television channels into the Indian broadcasting space that had so far been monopolised by the Indian government-owned Doordarshan: MTV, STAR Plus, Star Movies, BBC, Prime Sports and STAR Chinese Channel. Soon after, India saw the launch of Zee TV, the first privately owned Indian channel to broadcast over cable followed by Asia Television Network (ATN). A few years later CNN, Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel made their foray into India. Later, Star TV Network expanded its bouquet with the introduction of STAR World India, STAR Sports, ESPN, Channel V and STAR Gold.

Wow, I didn't know that MTV, Star Plus, BBC, and those other channels all launched before Zee. 😳 I hadn't heard of Star Plus until Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thih, so I always assumed it was a newer channel in comparison to Zee and Sony. ☺️

Mish, all Pakistani shows are available on YouTube. 😃 You'll be able to find Humsafar and Zindagi Gulzar Hai there. Fawad did graduate on to such films as Khoobsurat with Sonam Kapoor, Kapoor and Sons with Sidharth and Alia, and he also did a cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He's now doing Pakistani cinema and I'm excited for his next. If there has ever been a lethal combination of looks and acting prowess, then it is Fawad Khan without a second's hesitation. Please watch Kapoor and Sons, Mish! Fawad and Sid were both fantastic along with Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak. 👍🏼

That's good to know. I just never bothered to look up on YOu Tube.
I watched this first episode you posted & liked it. Oh, isn't the female lead Mahira Khan??
I thought she looks like her or am I wrong??? Now I am curious of their marriage & life after...
Looks like I might binge watch the show this holiday.
Thanks Dazz dear for introducing me to some really good shows 🤗

Mish, Humsafar does star Mahira as the lead actress. It is an interesting story, but it's the performances by the entire cast that have made this show a classic. I hope you enjoy watching! 🤗
