If you are a Shivangi Joshi or Mohsin Khan admirer or a fan of both, I am sure you must have swelled with pride reading the compliment they received from the creative head Garima ma'am.
Posting a picture on instagram of our beloved Shivin and herself she wrote below :
'These two are amazing! The way they have worked in this outdoor is truly commendable...From waking up early mornings to sleeping late nights...to always having a smile in cold days... and laughter in the freezing water...there were times when we wanted to stop but they didn't...never a NO always a YES! hats off to Mohsin and Shivangi...we love to create write and direct you guys!'
What caught my eyes was the line which said that 'there were times when we wanted to stop but they didn't, that itself shows, Shivin's energy and dedication and this hasn't been the first time, even Rajan Shahi the producer himself in one of his interviews at Kaira Vivah time, had spoken about how he had got a call on the first day of his arrival at Bikaner from his team stating that they were 1000% more charged seeing Shivin's enthusiasm. Which again is proof of much energy these two hold that it doesn't only boost them but the crew as well.
All said above is something which we haven't seen by our eyes, as we aren't a part of the creative or directing team, so let's shift to what we see with our own eyes, their performances. These two have performed greatly since the start and each day they continue to increase the level of their performance. Since I believe a person should be judged by what they are today, if an actor was good years back but has fallen, is no more worthy of praise, if on one position since years has not risen, then they have ceased to be praiseworthy and if they hadn't been up to the mark performers earlier but our now they don't deserve anything said anything against them, so I won't go more then a week back while talking about Shivin's performance.
There was a time she a smiled of thanks for making her birthday so special, a time he smiled remembering the past times and the dreams he saw, another time when he smiled of wonder seeing her return gift and her smile to let him know it was true. There was her smile of excitement for the upcoming trip and his smile seeing that smile of hers. Lastly there was a smile of strength of wife so that her husband maybe able to leave and a smile of appreciation and pride of a husband of having such an amazing woman as a wife. So many times had they smiled, in a week itself, yet each time their lips curved it felt new.
Many things made creases of tension visible on their foreheads, the fear of losing your own life or that of someone special, the thought about an accident not leaving your head, business project being a road block to their trip. Every time they portrayed these worries, it was like I was seeing them do it the first time.
We saw a daughter's eyes filled with tears, seeing her mother's last gift, we saw a tear fall down from a man's eyes of fear of losing his lady, we saw cries of a girl who was sad as she had to choose one between two happiness, we saw moist eyes of a boy as he looked at his crying girl. Each time their eyes filled up or their tears fell it felt like I haven't seen them perform such before.
Every hug of their seems new, a hug from a man consoling his crying girl, or a hug of husband as he held his wife, whose accident he just saw happen, in fear of losing her and thanks of her being safe, the hug of overflowing excitement, a hug of an apology saying that am sorry I have to leave and hug letting him know that she understands. Everytime they wrapped their arms around one another, it feels something new.
You know the best part this previous weeks performance was all done in a rush as they had to shoot for two weeks in few days, yet the performance is so brilliant, like another Shivin admirer said 'it seems as though Shivin' have enacted those scenes after proper rest and party.' and truly it does look like that they had all the time in the world to shoot.
Shivin are such performers that words fall less in their praise but I have given a small try and hope that other Shivin's lovers will give one as well.
