When we talk about erotic suspense thrillers, we expect some nice dose of romance, some twists and turns and a gripping climax!
And, if you too have any similar expectations with "Aksar 2" then beware as all of it might go be royally crushed!
The film has beautifully stained the "Aksar" franchise and the essence of our most kick-ass lover-boy, Emraan Hashmi.
Without wasting much of your time, lets come to the important parts:
Characters and their "Not-so-happening" Performances:
Lillete Dubey: When we talk about performance, Lillete Dubey is the one you will love throughout. Not only her character but the way she had done justice to it till the end, is commendable.
Gautam Rode: Is the second in line to create a space in your hearts. Just like his small screens, even on the big screens Gautam has created his magic! He has pulled off his character to the mark. Be it executing the evilness or romancing his lady or portraying the "bechara" element, he did it all with ease! He leaves you wanting to see more of him. And we are sure, we will get to see him soon again on the silver screens with some "better projects".
Abhinav Shukla: His entry might not be a good one, but his exit is something you might like. For all the time he is in the frame, he hasn't done much except for just reciting his dialogues.
Mohit Madaan: We have seen very less of Mohit in Bollywood films. And, he has somehow managed to pull off the wickedness of his character. However, he hasn't been used much in the film. But, we vouch on him to go for some better films next time!
Zareen Khan: Is a "complete waste". The most irritating character of all! Be hit her dialogue delivery or her emotional scenes, she has just added the final nail to the coffin with her disastrous performance.
What we liked/ disliked:
Actually, we really like anything about the film, except for some beautiful locations, and the climax! That's the only part where your guess goes wrong. Otherwise, throughout the film your predictions come true!
The twists and turns are so boring that you feel like "what more worse can it get now". The story has immensely failed to keep you on your seats.
There are very "few" erotic scenes and even those are so badly shot and execute that you might tell yourself that I can do much better. Zareen is extremely bad in igniting the fire with both the boys. Her chemistry or her sensuous scene are very irritating and they evidently look so forced.
Overall:
If You have nothing to do in life or at least for this weekend, then Aksar 2 is a MUST WATCH. Also, we suggest that you should go so that you have something to discuss and laugh about when you resume work next week!
