Vandana’s multi-tasking

Actress and producer-director Vandana Sajnani is very excited.

"It's been a great surprise to receive so many wonderful smses about my performance from people all over India and overseas who have seen me back on TV in Baabul ka aangan choote na after a long long gap," she says. Vandana had been busy with her own theatre production and event company past couple of years.

"I've been so busy that I really never thought I could fit in a TV acting assignment in between. But when this offer come about, the role was very interesting, and the best part was that they agreed to me working for only six to seven days a month."

Apart from theatre and TV, in a couple of months she will also be directing her first feature film. "It's a comedy, a hilarious laugh riot," she reveals. Vandana's friends call her female Shah Rukh Khan! "Yes... that's because of my energy level. I'm highly skilled to handle my work and balance my personal life as well," she smiles.
